Seantrel starting for Bills

The thing with Seantrel is that he was self-destructive, not team-destructive.

He wasn't a cancer, wasn't a mope, and actually played with great energy. Trel would regularly run down the field to push piles, help up his teammates and celebrate the success of others. His problems were personal.

I am very happy to see him succeed. Hopefully he keeps growing and makes his dreams come true.

His self-destruction was team destructive. I get that it was passive and he wasn't actively trying to hurt the team but he did his part.

Color me SHOCKED that another kid from here gets BETTER once he gets actual training, actual nutrition, actual coaching, and doesn't have to worry about making his carpet munching president look good with perfect class attendance.

Yeah, it's amazing what happens when your paycheck is on the line....

Lmao at all the butthurt dudes on here cuz dude was getting high. Nobody's gonna care in 10 years. I'm a little biased because I work in the industry but CBD based medicines would be immensely useful treating concussions and pain, rather than just continue to nurse the painkiller addiction crisis in the league that nobody wants to talk about....

So, you think a few weeks with a new coaching staff and a few months of training made all the difference in the world? Lulz. It's money. Nothing more. Nothing less. He was prepared just fine here. If not, then he would have no chance to be doing what he's doing.

nobody cares that he smoked weed.

People do care that he was an immense underachiever for the college team we all cheer for.

It's ridiculous he lasted until the 7th round. There's kids in the 4th round that have no business playing in the NFL and somehow Henderson goes 100 picks later because he smokes weed.

Bills gunna get themselves a steal with that pick. Starting LT in the 7th round. smh

You're making it a bigger issue than it is. I don't care that he smoked weed. I only care because it contributed to a less than stellar career for a guy who plays for the team I root for. Henderson should have been a dominant 3 years and out top 10 pick. He wasn't. Thats the problem.

Color me not shocked that you would blame others for his pot smoking fueled under achievement while in college. Cause missing classes was clearly the issue.

He looked excellent. I don't want to get carried away because it was preseason. And he also didn't face many stunts or shifted responsibilities. But given the level of the player across from him, and the technique he demonstrated, it was impossible not to be impressed.

Why did we refuse to use Henderson at left tackle, regardless of his desires? He looked so natural out there tonight, far superior to any point at right tackle with the Canes. I think Henderson had a misplaced fear of left tackle. Buffalo apparently plans to shift Henderson to right tackle once Cordy Glenn returns. I expect Henderson to struggle once he's moved.

Henderson demonstrated so much tonight that Buffalo took him out with 3 minutes remaining in the second quarter and he never returned. Marrone had seen enough. In contrast, the early second round pick Cyrus Kouandjio was left out there for the entire game. He looked awful on many plays and in comparison to Henderson. Kouandjio has no idea how to use his hands, even worse than top pick Eric Fisher from last season. The hands are never extended properly nor the proper distance from his frame. It's like a boxer whose defense suffers simply because he's not natural with his hands.

Why is this not a surprise, an Alabama player who immediately looks worse than in college, and a Cane who looks dramatically better?

Regardless, it's still difficult to believe that Henderson lasted until the 7th round. I post on a premier Dolphin site and advocated taking him late. Many posters wanted no part of him, including some of the draft specialists. As DMoney posted, Henderson's problems were all his own making. He gave a good effort on the field. Marijuana use among Cane football players is hardly a new or unexpected topic. Somehow Henderson took it to a new and bizarre level that equated to 7th round and forfeited cash that I don't even want to estimate.

Marrone has his oline coach and then as the head coach he works with the oline personally. Henderson benefits from that. I'm excited that we got him late and we now will have book end tackles for the next 7-8 years in him and Cordy Glenn.

In 4 years playing for us did he even give up 5 sacks total?
Usually whoever he blocked just seemed to disappear.

I've always thought he would be a franchise left tackle in the NFL, even with the bong.
Without weed dulling his senses and motivation, he will be special.

Exactly... He was a good player here... He showed signs of a dominant lineman as a true freshman shutting down Dequan Bowers who was the best DE in college before the injuries and a series of unfortunate events... I'm happy for him..

Uhhh, that was my point. I think you meant to quote GoldenShowers?

Yeah, man, that was a technical error on my part.
