The other thing that blows my mind is that Golden was a TE and has repeated his desire over and over to use them more effectively...oh well, on to the next one

UFan2010, IMO, Using Chase Ford as an example, you don't just recruit a TE because he is a TE. Sometimes giving ships to bodies is counter productive

That could very well be true, but you have to take into account that Ford was also a TE scouted and scholarshipped by RS and Co and as such received his "development" from them. He didn't seem to put it together all year, but was impressing at the Senior Bowl thing. Either way, I made my comment thinking that Price dropped us, not that the staff didn't evaluate him as a top TE which people (scouting services) believe he is.
