I see that per rivals he still hasn't signed his LOI to USF. We didn't sign a TE in this class... Did we recruit him?
No corporate censorship here haus. You can post all the links your little heart desires.[]_[]Fan2010;221553 said:I'm not sure if we're allowed to post links, but Scout says he signed faxed is LOI
Kid seemingly had 0 interest in Miami.
not sure why he chose USF; he had great offers and took that one? Scared of comp?

Just my opinion, but no.
USF was all over him for a long time, first offer etc. He really just had a longstanding bond with them it seems. Plus its not like they havent heen able to snag a few big recruits.
We've lost a couple to USF, Sam Barrington and Kayvon Webster come to mind.

his recruitment was strange. He really seemed interested for awhile but just shut it down. He had a great offer list (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, us, Michigan, Notre Dame, OU etc.) and ended up at USF? I can understand building a long term relationship with the coaches but just is odd.
No real history of NFL TEs from USF, no real winning history, a conference that will end up losing its BCS bid and is in a little bit or turmoil. Odd
Isnt he from Tampa?
Isnt he from Tampa?
Close to Tampa. I think there was a family member ill that he wanted to be close to. Could be the wrong guy though.

Early on we looked good, but next thing you knew, it was 0.

That's how I remember it as well, wierd how recruiting works sometimes.
