I said that Yearby looked like a young McGahee in the spring time and I was laughed at. Fact is..he looks like a YOUNG McGahee. Willis was not 6'1 230 ON ANY DAY while at UM. He came in at 200lbs as a freshmen out of Central. He left here at about 220lbs. Again, we are talking strictly body type. Not speed. So yes I agree, Yearby has the body type of a YOUNG willis mcgahee. Lets hope he plays half as good as willis did.
you are still being laughed at. Last time Willis weighted 200 was probably sophmore year of HS. According to 2 sites I checked, he was listed at 215 as a HS senior when he signed his LOI.

Hurricanes Add D.J. Williams To Football Recruiting Class - University of Miami Hurricanes Official Athletic Site
He wsa listed at 224 as a sophmore.

And yes, he was weighing at 230 at and around the time he was drafted:

Their frames are NOTHING alike. Gus is closer to Willis than Yearby is. Yearby won't be heavier than 210-212 by the time he leaves college, imo.
You are showing your age buddy. First off, when it comes to HS recruiting, you are out of your league here. YOU have to resort to looking **** up online. (you must be under the age of 21) I SAW WILLIS PLAY PERSONALLY at MiaCen and I am telling you he wasn't a pound over 200 his SR year. Now Najeh Davenport was tipping the scales at 225 in HS. He was always big as ****.
But go ahead internet historian, look up your links and paste them here. LOL.
Been following recruiting lot longer than you think, young fella - you must have a teenager in the late 90s. Am I right? I was providing you actual links that showed his weight. I may not have seen in person at Central but I did at Miami. Can you paste links that show he was 200? I'll wait. And let me guess, you still refuse to believe he was ever 230?
