scrimmage camp report

I knew Coley was good, but for him to be pushing for PT as a true freshman with our loaded WR core really shows how talented he is.

He's too talented to keep off the field.

Sandland looks like a completely different player from the spring. He's not playing tight anymore, and his talent is starting to show. I like the way he adjusts to the ball. He will be a nice safety valve on third down.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, Rashawn Scott seems to have lost the momentum he had this spring. Dorsett, Waters and Coley have been the clear-cut top three receivers in camp.

D$= your just starting to see better talent rising to the top...

Don't forget Sandland came from Southern California and it takes time to get used to Miami.
Coming from California, the only way to get used to Miami humidity is to spend 8 hours in a steam sauna for months.
Just leaving the airport, when those doors open, and that wall of humidity hits you, you become instantly physically drained.
****, I feel my energy wane just remembering it.

GOAT gif. What a ******* throwback badass.

All last season we heard Coley detractors talking about how he played like he didn't care, maybe lazy, poor work ethic etc

I sat there watching a kid cry his eyes on on the biggest day of his life and that cleared up any "does he want it?" questions for me. Some kids are different. Some are outgoing and brash, others are quiet and introverted. Just because someone talks about how much something means to them doesn't mean the quiet kid cares any less.

From that day on I've had quiet confidence that Coley is going to be just fine.

**** dorsett burned tracy

Negative. Rodgers or Highsmith should have been over the top to help in coverage. Those two bums are a waste of space. Is Bush gonna be ready for FAU?

even if bush is 90% for FAU you hold him out, IMO. cant risk losing him for any substantiated amount of time.

Yeah Tracy was suppose to have help over the top b/c nobody can keep up w/ Dorsett on a go route on any team... but i like to give out blame across the board and Ray Jenkins probably was on the field not doing **** either. Cant blame J. Carter b/c he is a freshman, i think he can come on towards the middle of the season.

Neither of our other safeties are any good w/o Deon on the field, at the moment, but if Deon is out there then i think it will allow the other safeties to play better.

I disagree w/ Pcity though b/c I want Deon on the field for FAU before I throw him into the fire against Florida especially since he hasnt been full go all fall camp.

I'm sure he cares. I think everyone knows he's a stud. But when the OC is telling the press he needs to learn (paraphrasing) he is a part of the scheme, he isn't the scheme... Well, he better learn that.

In order to be a legitimate number 1 wide receiver at any level, you must believe the offense revolves around you and that you were open on every single play.

He could be the scheme in a few years though. Going into his junior year I expect, maybe like Marqise Lee from USC. Defensive coordinator won't be able to sleep all week. That's how they will for Duke going into his Junior season. This year they have to worry about Morris. But I do understand what you are saying for the big picture for the entire team.

Pretty sure DC will be losing sleep over Duke this year

smh I hate that people didn't even pay attention to everything JC said in regards to that quote and will think it was a knock on Stacy's attitude. It had absolutely nothing to do with Stacy's attitude at all and 1000% to do with a young kid understanding the difference between a 20yd route in HS and a 20yd route in college and what can happen if you messed that up in college.

I get it that you think Bush is going to be some can't miss all time phenom but what why is it that you don't like Jenkins? The kid was a ******* stud coming out of HS. In fact he did everything for his team including balling out at RB when needed. If anything Bush had more question marks than Jenkins ever did. **** people thought Bush might be sift and judging by his injuries so far they're correct. How about we let the kid healthy before we claim other players who haven't been injured are worse off than these so called ballers?

What I wrote still applies.

Didn't realize that AQM was from Irvington. There is no area in Miami rougher than Irvington. It could very well be the roughest stretch of pavement anywhere in the country.
