Didn't Scott lose his dad this year or something (not sure of the details so forgive if they're not accurate)? Maybe just wants to be back closer to home as well.

Either way losing home would be painful..we finally create some DT depth through recruiting and then lose our best big man inside.

So whats the working theory?

OJ started all season.

Bell started many games (not freshman but newcomer)

Lyle and lofton played in many games.

Zaquan got an opportunity to play and didn't seize it.

But Scott was left on the bench because.......staff hates freshmans?

We've had 3 freshman all Americans in 3 years (Francis, Bain, OJ).

Mario has continously proven to play young players if they are the best.

Enough with these stupid theories.

Scott pretty consistently got 10+ snaps a game. His production on the year was nearly identical to David Stone's at Oklahoma, and they had nothing to play for. What's more likely: there was a conspiracy not to play Scott more when the defense couldnt stop anybody or it's really, really difficult for a true freshman DT, no matter how talented they are, to be a significant contributor on a P4 team?

I said to some people including @Sebastianspipe that it was bothering me giudry played clark and Marley cook over him alot. maybe I was overthinking but Giudyr needs to be gone like yesterday. hes toxic. we didnt lose on recruits because of money, we lost because no one wants to play for him or quite frankly likes him.

I know Mario likes to let assistants figure out their next stop. But he talks accountability. Here’s mario chance to show he holds himself accountable and will do what needs to be done. He fires Guidry in the next couple of days, it sends a message to everyone that we are serious.

Not every team blows a 21-point lead in the last game of the season with the ACCCG and CFP hanging in the balance. In fact, Syracuse has NEVER come back to win down by 21 points until they did it to Mario last weekend. Losing Scott is just the beginning...

giudry was a jerk and a lazy recruiter too. just fire him. make an example.
