Nobody wants that job. It’s no longer a stepping stone with a manageable G5 schedule. Now you’re playing teams with more talent than you and after 2-3 years you’re getting fired.

Agree. That's what I meant by his hype was coming to an end. Not really failing upwards, but he will still continue to be put in high profile coaching positions regardless of his success, or lack thereof. I would bet he will be HC again for a P4 school before G5 school. Guess we will see what happens at FSU. Hopefully, it's a complete disaster.

I was going to make the Chip Kelly comparison too. He hasn’t made the necessary changes to his offensive system to stay competitive in today’s game. I think UCF assumed his name would give them a bump in recruiting but it didn’t really pan out.

I think it's a fcking great hire . he should have never left. he steals all the left over 3 star recruits who can run like the wind and he puts them in places and lets them play. he had that little tiny rb #9 who maybe weighed 170 lbs and that dude ripped off 50 yard td on the regular. he lets the fast guys eat. watch what he does. hes still young and I doubt he leaves this Time around.

The storyline that Scott Frost gave them their undefeated season by beating Gus Malzahn's Auburn in the Peach Bowl only to have Malzahn end up as the head coach at UCF then resign to become an OC only to have Scott Frost replace him is like something from a bad soap opera.
