So many people focus on the NFL, but for the vast majority of players, this is the benefit they get from playing college football.
Cannot agree more with this. It is one **** of a consolation prize to have not only undergrad but postgrad paid for and landing a great job straight from school. Very rare to get that much school and ZERO debt coming out. As a parent of high schoolers, I’m VERY SENSITIVE to increasing school costs for college. Lol
 
300- elite '23 class
105 - total players allowed on team
85- players on ships
40 - points per game with a good OC
35 - new kids on the team
15 - wins
4 - new coaches
0 - losses

The good news, unlike prior years, for every scholarship player that enters the Portal, graduates or is otherwise no longer on scholarship, we get an extra slot toward the 85.

We no longer have to balance the overall cap (85) with the IC cap (25). We no longer have to worry about whether early enrollees count toward the prior class, etc.

Simple calculation.
