GT contained Duke last year.

Not ****ing this year.

No they didn't. Duke had 13-72 last year. Mike James had 15-82. Combined they were 28-154. They didn't stop our running game at all. We had to throw 52 times because we got down 36-19 early in the 3rd quarter.

they r in big trouble if we go up on em 20-0 like last year, there wont be any of that 36 unanswered **** happening... This def holds them under 200 yds and Morris has a good day throwing...

The defense as a whole. Cane DNA for playing the option is the best there is, and Golden and Mark have the most experience defending it. The D will shut it down big. As for one guy, I think Green has big day--run stop is his strong suit. Fig and AQM have not face this yet so you might not see that much of them until we get up a couple scores. Al has shown that he does not like to expose freshmen in big games. AQM will get action if GT ends up having to pass--then he will eat them alive. Fig needs to learn to play those cut blocks.

His body is ready..

Chickillo. He absolutely ate them alive last year, and he's bigger faster stronger this year. I honestly feel really good about this one, I just don't think they will be able to Move Porter, Pierre, Shayon, and Chick off the line.

This

Our LB's are gonna be cracking skulls, Bender

Renfrow, Pierre, and Porter in the middle of our defense is huge. They are big guys with experience that should allow our LBs to run to the ball carrier.

I could see Cornelius going ape **** on that GT option this week... He has good instincts, reaction time and is quick enough to blow up the play in the back field (ala the option he blew up against Uf*g

Anybody know the word on McDermott? Hopefully he plays Saturday

Why?

Agreed, would love to see Wheeler get most of the snaps saturday, and he earned it last week. Lets bring McDermott along very very slowly.

Thankfully McDermott has one more year remaining. He really needs to develop that nasty streak. Get angry and want to kill everyone in front of you! Hopefully that will happen. I think he has a lot of potential.

I agree about Kirby. I think he'll see a lot of snaps in the middle to help plug up that option bullish. Think he'll have a good game. I think the DTs have an opportunity to break out by seeing how the perform against that power inside run game. This all remains to be seen.

As for the offense, what about Sandland? Has made a couple of nice plays the past couple of weeks. Looking for him to catch some balls when everyone else is focused on Coley, Waters, and Dorsett for making all those plays recently.
