His hiring practices/results and the coaching had a major role in the results on the field. I want him to succeed, and I don’t like people acting out with stupid insults, but I’m also going to try to be objective and call it as I see it.

I do think we’ll have a strong class. I don’t know how high. Losing Samson would be a disappointment and a PR loss to the gator. I still don’t see how he pulls elite skills guys on O with the status quo on staff.

I think we still land samson, of course I could be wrong but it is fair to say that if we do lose him that the criticism's will be warranted.

I may be in the minority I just really wonder in the grand scheme of things, how much value a player like samson will bring to a team? he clearly is all about his brand, seems like protypical - portal out after first great season to get a big portal szn bag, or just never develops like we hope. I will say that even if we are the ones who land him.

Way more excited about cohen than I am about samson and maybe I'm off base there but the miniscule differences between a top 5 class to a top 7 class or a top 8 class to a top 10 class won't be what makes or breaks us, it'll be the next hire at OC and potentially DC and on those fronts, mario has failed so far

I want elite results at a bare minimum in recruiting, since his results in the hiring process and on the field have been putrid. I’m glad that you’re not the one running my business, I’d go bankrupt within a year.

When you pay someone $8 million a year, it’s not to get pretty good results. He better at least be cleaning house in recruiting, specially after having had the lead for Samson for months and OL being his specialty.

Also, quit it with the bullshyt excuses. This is his first full class, and it’s supposed to be a great one. Thanks to his huge mistakes in hiring the correct OC and DC, almost all of the offensive studs at RB and WR have told him to go **** his own face.

Mario **** the bed in a major way by being a stubborn dumb@$$, and hiring a bum OC and insisting on running this offense from the Stone Age. How in the FUGG did he ever think that the top offensive recruits would want to play in this garbage of a system.

He hasn’t even fired Gattis yet, and it’s almost signing day. I’m starting to think that he’s got some kind of mental incapacity. I just cannot fathom that this guy could be so hard headed and set in his ways.

As far as Olinemen go I would think they would prefer run blocking than pass. You don’t pancake people in pass protection

Samson is arguably the best OL prospect in this entire class, and probably one of the top ones in the last 5-10 years. The young man has limitless potential and elite traits.

He hasn't played the recruiting games or social media games outside of straight promotion. I didn’t say that Mario flopped. It’s a very good class, but this is exactly what did Randy in. You can’t have unbalanced classes. RB and WR are huge needs. Bringing in underwhelming recruits at those positions won’t cut it.

If Mario was a genius OC, or if he was open minded enough to hire a top, modern day OC, then I can see getting good but not great prospects, because then the schemes and play calling could help even the gap some.

But the reality is that Mario is such a poor game day coach (in addition to his addiction to grind it our offense) , that he needs all of the elite talent that he can get in order to have a chance to win at a high rate.

It's not a known principle, but what is known is some people just cry for the **** of it and really don't know **** about football. The Culture and roster was so bad we was lucky to win 5 games especially with the injuries and worst QB play Miami has ever seen. Those coaches come from a winning culture including Gattis, Mario didn't just pick some bums from off the street. Let these coaches build this **** up brick by brick and you cheer like a good fan do. SMDH
