Why is anyone confident, to the point they're not really worried about other schools, with regards to this kid? He's like the last holdout on a slew of talent that a lot of people were initially confident on late summer and we saw how that panned out.
Lack of noise from other schools. This UF thing is new. Plus Mario has a good track record with OL. I’m sure this kid is being sold on three years and straight to the league. Other places can’t offer that plus the coaching he’d get at his position.

If he's all of that, he can be three and done elsewhere. Irregardless, he's had one quiet recruitment.

He has. You could make a strong he’d be our best OL if he showed up today. I don’t know too many other schools that could say that. Unfortunately that’s the state of our line is right now.

When it comes to Okunlola I am generally confident we still lead, but I understand there's still a lot of time until signing day and that can change, although I ultimately remain not un-confident he ends up at UM.

*Pretty sure Gabby's still out on paternity leave so I wanted to make sure the right vibe was being presented on this recruit's outlook.

His situation is weird, however this is a low rated kid who came in with a chip on his shoulder and worked his *** off to even get to a reasonable weight to be considered an OL and was thrust into action, took his beatings and never waivered. I am somewhat hesitant of the idea he is shutting it down when he has by far the two best OL coaches he had.

I am wondering if something happened with the knee. Either the issue was discovered late, he was rushed back and had a setback, the initial issue while thought to be a cleanup turned into something else and perhaps he is upset with the medical staff. He just seems like the type of kid to want to work for the coaches.

Definitely could be the case with the knee. I definitely see the point of wanting to play for the best two OL coaches he has ever had. I also think we probably don't understand the mental damage of playing for Manny for three years and the toll it takes on you. It sucked as a fan. Just imagine as a player

Brian Dohn, 247 reporter in Midwest is reporting OSU is pushing hard for a visit on Nov 26 for Michigan game. So far it hasn’t been confirmed
I’m shocked. That’s our biggest comp. Not gonna lie though, a metro Boston kid is going to be way more comfortable in Miami.
