Especially because it was allegedly him missing treatment meetings smh... I know deon Cain from Clemson was suspended through spring this year and is now back on the team balling

I wouldn't get my hopes up. Not many guys just leave mid semester after being kicked off. I'm sure he'll be out after Christmas break.

Leaving mid semester means you don't get your credits and aren't eligible to practice in the spring or summer at your new school.

Cain was suspended; Sammy was terminated. Didn't Big Sam just have another run in with the law a couple weeks ago after being terminated?

He already came back from suspension, this is kicked off the team. That's not a step a coach takes if he is willing to give the kid another chance. He's done, it's over.

Made some bad decisions. He is also a 18 year old kid. Not sure why everyone puts these kids on a pedestal

I'm glad he's at least enrolled in school. Regardless of the football the important thing is that he gets an education and can make something of himself. Best of luck to him for sure.

This basically means he's been out of school and doesn't have the grades to transfer to another institution at this level.

He'd have to sit out a year if he went to another D-1 school. If he goes JUCO, at least he gets playing time next year and then can transfer to a D-1 school. This makes sense in what he's doing. Wish him the best.
