Played ball at a marginal school

You don't know how many good coaches played at marginal schools...or didn't play college ball at all.

Patke had a number of years with Diaz. Good enough for me.

And love having a Texas guy. Now maybe we open Texas back up for recruiting. JJ and Butch loved Texas recruits. Our NC teams always had Texas guys.
