How does Walton rank nationally for you all? I only watch Miami play as I live in Thailand and the time difference is a .

I don't think he's better than Barkley but he's **** good. Takeo spikes was praising his vision multiple times on the broadcast. Bshaw and the Walton haters on this board probably hated that.

Barkley is considered one of the best rb prospects of the last 5 years . One of the most complete backs you'll ever find.

It's really a toss up. I'd say Walton would be my choice between the two. Hey Walton is as elite as anyone in college football today.

Barkley has more game breaking speed but Walton is a bad MF as far as a combination of speed, power, vision, creativity, etc. I'm impressed by how much his game has improved over 3 years here and he's just scratching the surface on how good he can be. The jump cut he's added to his game this year is down right nasty.

The phantom penalty play against FSU last year where Walton scored and called back, Barkley could never do that.

Name me another team besides PSU where it would be even a debate if Walton would start on that team?

Barkley will be the next great PSU RB...............to flop in the NFL. (See DJ Rozier, Blair Thomas Ki-Jana Carter, Larry Johnson*, Curtis Enis, Tony Hunt)

*For two years, LJ was the best back in the NFL....all his other years, he was a nobody

D, The Cowboys open up wide open lanes for him to run in. Zeke is coming a little bit back to earth so far. I highly doubt Zeke playing on the Chicago Bears or NYG would be doing what he did. Gurley, on the other hand, is that dude.

Walton had over 200 yards on just 11 carries... that's elite and special. Clowns dck riding this Penn state rb like no one is on his level gtfoh.... I'm riding with Mark Walton over any other back in cfb.
 
I love Walton's game, but come on. Everyone and their mother knows Barkley's getting the ball every time PSU needs critical yardage and he always picks it up. Kid is a machine.

And Walton did this on just 11 carries. that's Elite. If you don't think so, GTFOH, you don't understand football.

I don't see anyone hating on Walton. He's the real deal. People are just giving Barkley the nod. That doesn't mean Walton isn't good!

I believe everyone on this thread thinks Walton is really good, but it's a fair comparison. BTW, Iowa's defense is a bit better than Toledo's.
 
Penn St is trying to get barkley the Heisman. Last night he returned kicks, was the teams leading wr and rusher. He had over 350 yards of total offense. Walton is a good football player and could be featured the same way Barkley is but he isn't and probably won't be. BArkley will Polly test out a lil better than walton so his grade will be higher. He's proven he can be versatile, handle the work load and pretty much carry his team offensively against some pretty good defense and players.
