Saban This Morning

Saban did make a good point that the biggest predictor between lesser teams and the elite is generally the lines. I agree with that 100 percent. Discounting a team with small lines makes OBJECTIVE sense.

He dusted off the crimson suit and shamelessly lobbied for BAMA. Sounded broken up. I loved every moment of it.
Oh, he said “we” when talking about Alabama on the selection show. On the last gameday, he also was getting annoyed at McAfee for questioning Bama.

I was surprised that Galloway was so pro SEC. He was spreading the company line like he didn’t go to OSU.

Lastly, our commissioner was terrible. He was confusing the teams and the players when trying to defend the ACC. I can’t imagine him fairing well in any serious negotiation.

Guy was one of the best ever - he is finding his way as a TV guy - however his media peers dont call him out on stuff
- Two examples this AM

Out of conference schedule
- Complained that we need to look at out of conference
- Bama's OOC: Top Team Whisy was an under 500 team & Sth Florida 6-6
- SMU's OOC: #18 BYU 10-2 & TCU 8-4
- His comment makes no sense

Putting teams that "deserve" to be in
- Complained about how the last time we put in a team that "deserved it" was TCU (He mentions under his breath that Bama didnt get in )
- Made the comment you win in the trenches & called out how TCU got blown out by Georgia bc they were too small
- He of course forgets that TCU beat Michigan in the first round. Pretty sure Michigan was strong in the trenches !!!
- Again - no one says a thing
Check-in time is 3pm.

SOS to the SEC follows the logic 'the SEC plays the toughest schedules because they play the SEC'.

Meanwhile half or more of the conference is average at best, just the every other conference.

Alabama was great, no argument. UGA came on the last few years. LSU had the Burrow Year.

That's it. No?

Idk who said it, but I heard it paraphrased on a podcast. ESPN is giving the stage of opinion to a guy who quit on the sport because he didn't like the changes.
Changes that took away all his under the table money advantage
