He is a way better coach than Mario. He runs circles around Mario. A lot of head coaches do (including Key up at Georgia Tech).
Kiffin, for all the **** talking some of you all do, is 43-18 at Ole Miss.
Before he got there, they were a bottom feeder SEC Team. He’s gotten two 10+ win seasons in his tenure there. Ole Miss rarely has ever done that prior to Kiffin.
In this new era where you can tap into the portal and high school recruiting is not what it used to be, coaching is a more important factor.
If you can’t make the right hires or have a direct impact on game day, you are really a relic.
Mario has the offensive line. Ok - super important, but then he has little impact on anything else outside of that.
