S Hylton “Drake” Stubbs commits to Miami... flips to UiF 12/2

Crazy this is happening after a 10 win season no other school gets judged as harshly as Miami, 7 win Florida is being worshipped as the second coming with a QB who completes 10 passes a game. Now Mario can’t recruit and no one wants to fork over any money we just need to shut it down man this **** is baffling, 1 game it all crumbles down does no one care about the other 10 we won.

Nothing that happened on Saturday changed who this team was. A good team with an elite offense and bad defense. If we're clicking, we can beat anybody..if we're not, we can make close games with anybody.
Only thing changed with these kids is more $$$ from somebody else and now they want to renegotiate.

Maybe we need to up the $$$ to "stop the bleeding" but once you start overpaying for recruits it's a slippery slope and can snowball to the rest of the recruits and more concerning, even your own roster. Imagine a kid who's supposed to start next year learns about an incoming recruit making more than him?

And we were 13 points from being 7-5 lol

We were a 9/10 win caliber team despite getting incredible QB play and facing a weak schedule. It wasn't a bad year but it wasn't a great one. It reinforces the narrative that Mario doesn't maximize his rosters

Think it’s Mario’s way all around. Reward system or something. Georgia, Ohio State, and Oregon don’t do that

I thought i read Dawson say he let's the RB coach decides who gets PT? I remember that after Ajay Allen had his big game.

I understand D-Money's silence rn, when everything's flying around you can't get a clear picture. When he speaks it's essentially coming from Mario and with all the teams coming at our class at the moment I doubt even Mario can give a definite status report.

D has been doing a **** of a Press Secretary impression this season but he doesn't have to be a beat reporter, that's Gaby's job. He's a site owner, there's levels to this.

Gaby's info comes from the same Federal Reserve that fuels The Bank but some still wanna take shots at his credibility cause he looks like he plays tuba for Palmetto High.

You want a status update? If you were Dennis Smith sitting in Cristobal's office here's what he would say:

"Buckle the **** up. We got our **** pushed in on Saturday and a ****storm would look like good weather compared to the chaos around us right now. We have to keep our team from imploding, our recruiting class from disintegrating, and balance the books for the portal all while I'm still trying to remove my foot from Guidry's ***."

I’ve been saying this for a while. You need a coach that can recruit. It’s important but even more important, you have to be a good coach. You can’t suck at coaching. Only a matter of time before recruits stop eating the bull****.

Which is why I keep bringing up Lane Kiffin would’ve been a better coach for Miami.

I get sick of fans comparing coaches that are the OC or DC of their team against a coach who isn't and saying they got outcoached. Mario is not an OC or DC. He hires them. You can blame him for the hires, but you were praising him last year for the same hires like everyone else did. Just STOP it.

Yeah, well, he failed miserably and flamed out in 2 out of the last 3 games of the year.

Don’t get mad at me for pointing out Mario’s failings. He’s the head man. If one of those units has been failing miserably in just about every game this year, it’s up to him to 1) find a solution and 2) hold people accountable.

This is a results business. Period!

If we make the CFP did mario deliver? We are going to finish what top 15, which will be our best ranking since 2017/2004. **** if next week we are ranked 11 and Make CFP it will be our best finish since literally the 02 national championship season lol

Yeah but we had 2 conference losses when so did Georgia. We are on the same level as Georgia we should be demanding better results. /s
 
This is what happens in business when you allow nepotism to be at the forefront of decision making. The Admin and BOT screwed the pooch again like many of us thought.

The meathead had one job to do, and he failed miserably. No amount of spinning this will justify his epic failure at not having a competent DC and defense with the kind of QB and offense that he was blessed with this season.

Kids are not stupid. They see the writing on the wall. We had the easiest schedule we may ever have, and still lost 2 games due to incompetent defense and game day corching.

Next year’s schedule is brutal. We’ll be fortunate to win 7-8 games.

You can hate it but your feelings wont change that he gets outcoached every week. Now he cant even do the only thing he does well (recruit)
