S Hylton “Drake” Stubbs commits to Miami... flips to UiF 12/2

No doubt,Oregon won the lotto with Lanning but I mean Mario has to be 2nd guessing coming to miami if he sees the financial support start to shrink.
The support shrinking would be because the funders are seeing Mario as a continuous money pit that’s not delivering the results they expect out of their investment.

How much do you know….obviously nothing with your 8 posts a year so if he’s 50 % right ( and he’s usually a lot more than that) he’s bring 50% more info to the board than you are.
Fools like you that bring nothing to the site are the reason the people that do have insider info are reluctant to bring it to the board .you've made your 8 posts for the year so go crawl back in your hole instead of calling a guy that knows what he’s talking about names.
Relax cupcake. I have been a canes fan since the early 70’s and have donated a lot of money to the athletic department over the years. Just because I don’t post a lot (I have a life) doesn’t mean I’m oblivious about what’s going on with the program

I think Lanning is good, but he was born on 3rd base. He is now able to use Big10 and has big NIL.

Mario didnt have those same things. Its hilarious how people crap on Mario, when he left a 10 win team and maybe best OL room in America for Dan to walk into.

You know Oregon is spending elite with how much they paid Dante Moore to RS AND sit bench.
Let me bring in two experts on the make up of Oregon’s roster and whether three years or so later, Mario’s a reason for Lanning’s success at Oregon.

Is it what I’m thinking here with Guidry - like even if he’s not that good, he’s had success with his own staff choices at lesser schools namely Marshall. Is he just so bad this year because his position coaches aren’t on his page or is it more than that???
Mario did this with his first staff( hired position coaches before the coordinators) and there was always problems with the staff.Youd of thought he learned but obviously not.

Gotta hire the coordinators and let them hire coaches they are comfortable with and not have a bunch of guys he’s never met thrown at him trying to make a staff.

Not saying this is the only problem cause it’s obviously not but with the rumors about coaches not getting along again it probably led to the problem.

I don’t think the board is going to like my answer. But after the last rankings update on 1/22 from 247, I’ll make a thread if people want. We’ll have three full cycles + portal to compare.

I think it would be good to show how many Mario players have been on Oregon’s roster each year since Mario left and the season records and bowls and maybe the same for Mario here. I really want to cut the talk of what Lanning was left from Mario 3-4 years from hiring. It’s simply another way for people to defend the hometown hero.

So yall say we don't have money to compete in these recruitments and also going forward with the portal...But yall also think we should be doing better?

Good for you cupcake and I’ve been a fan since the 50’s so unless you have something constructive to say crawl back under your rock until next year when you can pop out and **** on someone you have no clue about with your 8 posts.

JayCane doesn’t need me to stand up for him he can surely do that fine himself but I hate when guys like you show up out of nowhere spew garbage toward guys that constantly bring solid information then pop back in your hole for another 4-5 years.

what UF is doing is not sustainable. they always over pay but it won't translate on the field. this momentum they have is half a media narrative. yeah they won't a few games and been competitive with UT and UGA but they won't be at the top of sec imo with Napier.
Florida went 7-5 when nearly everyone on here said they wouldn't win more than 4 games. They lost their starting QB for a large part of the season and Lagway got injured when they were beating Georgia. Can you imagine the cluster **** Miami would have been if we lost Cam for half the season? Sobering thought but it doesn't seem like Mario is much better than Napier

Sure, I think it’s a factor.

Was he brought in to recruit top 8 classes, or not?
Did he do that the last 2 years?

Brashard Smith (looking great)
Jaylan Knighton (doesn't play)
KeyShawn Smith 30 catches for 499 yds (JAG)
Romello Brinson 7 catches for 92 yds (JAG)
Jared Harrison-Hunte 5 sacks and 35 tackles (Barrow better)
Jahfari Harvey 6.5 sacks and 26 tackles (same stats as Baron who everyone hates)
