S FL kids take note from LeBron and stay home

lebron left his home for a better chance to win championships, why the **** would we want S fl kids to do that

I know no one wants to hear it but I'm happy he is going back home. He tore Cleveland's heart out when he left. It's the same with recruiting down here. It's hard to watch such talented south fl kids go away from the U. There isn't anything we can't offer that the other schools do on the football field plus classroom.

Stay home boys!!

Now let's watch all the POS hypocritical Cleveland fans say I love u again lebron. Worste sports city in the world.
Lol you can easily replace Cleveland with Miami

worst sports city? they support their teams even though they have sucked for decades. lets see miami do that

Riley & Arison are badasses, plain and simple. They'd never let it be know if they were rustled.

I wonder who the Heat will try and buy a championship with now.

Spurs kicking their ***, it was a beautiful thing to see.

How insightful, it's highly unusual for professional sports teams to try to lure the best in their field.
It's so heartwarming that James is playing in Cleveland for free.

While it is common for pro franchises to lure people away with money, it's become more common and easy to do in the NBA than any other sport. The Yankees had a good run doing this, but there's not many other examples out there besides the NBA.

I suppose I'm old school in the sense that I like seeing players stick with their teams and build something together. It would seem to me that there'd be a bigger sense of accomplishment for those involved, but to each their own.

As an aside, it's funny how now the Heat fans feel jilted and the Cleveland ones will now do an about face after ****ing all over this guy a few years ago. Anything for the win, right?

I don't disagree with most of that, but don't try to bash the Heat when everybody does the same thing. Miami just did it bigger and better.
That's what kills me about most pro sports fans. How can you be so passionate about a player when the players only chase the money?

I thought: Why can't the guy make a ****ing decision without a media ****show, television announcement or article?

cuz he a bytch...wont ever win another ring. cannot carry a team on his own. not a fan and never have been

He carried the Heat to two titles.

He would have never won a title in miami with out Wade, bosh, Allen, Miller etc. He aint clutch. Can do all the show boating during the season but cannot finish when HE has to. What did Santana say..."big players make big plays in big games" LJ DONT...We can bet something right now..he aint never winning another ring

FYI Ive been a heat fan for 20+ years, ever since we were the door mat of the NBA. Was NEVER a fan of this show boating media ***** coming to the HEat, despite the fact that we won two titles with him on the team. Yes him on the team NOT because of him. Fug him and his dump of a city. His final years of his career will be the same as his first 7....no ship. His only shining moment will be when he visited the 305 for 4 years.

It's a cop out for teams with a poor front office imo. It's a lot easier to say "let's try and sign the best free agents" then it is to evaluate talent and build through a draft. I'll take a Portland, San Antonio or OKC any day.

Well, most of your points are wrong. Here goes:

1. Jordan never would've won a title without Pippen, Grant, etc... Magic would have never won without Kareem, Worthy, Scott, etc... Bird never would have won a title without McHale, Parish, Dennis Johnson, etc... I could keep going but the point is made.

2. Can't finish when has to? I'll just list a few of the times he did because there are TOO MANY to list. How about 2007 Eastern Conference Finals where Lebron scored the Cavs last 25 points (48 total in the game) to beat the Pistons and take a 3-2 series lead? Or how about the 2013 Finals, Game 7, where Lebron scored 37 points (5-10 from 3 point range, 52% overall FG%) and the Heat won the title? Or perhaps Game 6 of the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals when he posted 45-15-5 with the Heat down 3-2 in the series to the Celtics?

3. Point 2 also disproves the point that he is not clutch. But I will add this, per an ESPN story from 2013: "Since LeBron came into the league in 2003-04, nobody in the NBA has made more game-tying and go-ahead shots in the final 24 seconds of playoff games than LeBron, who is 7-of-16 on those shots. His 43.8 field goal percentage on those clutch shots ranks the best in the NBA since his rookie season among players with at least 10 attempts. The league average is 28.3 percent on those shots."

4. I find it funny that a fellow fan of the Miami Hurricanes has a problem with showboating.

5. You honestly think the addition of Lebron James was not the reason that the Heat won back to back titles? He wasn't the main reason the Heat won those titles? Wow.

6. I'm thankful that Lebron played 4 years with the Heat and wish him the best in the future.

Complaining about "throwing money" at players to "buy a team" is the stupidest ******* thing ever in pro sports and especially one with a salary cap.
