13 weeks after ACL surgery, Zach Mettenberger had his pro day. He expects to be 100% by mid May. I'd love to see Williams make it back by August.

Williams trying to return for Nebraska game!
Miami quarterback Ryan Williams underwent surgery to repair a torn ACL in his right knee on Wednesday. According to his mother, Jayne Williams, the senior plans to be back on the field by end of September.
Williams suffered the injury during a scrimmage on Friday night. He was battling redshirt freshman Kevin Olsen for the No. 1 quarterback job, but after successful surgery his efforts will be focused on rehab and recovery. The quarterback's mother, speaking to the Miami Herald following Williams' surgery at UM Hospital, thanked fans and friends for their support and offered a target return date for her son.

“He’s an amazing kid and is getting so many prayers and so much support from everyone you can imagine, most of whom I’ve never met. I want to thank every single person praying for him.”
She said Ryan is determined to return to the field sometime next season — “he wants to play at Nebraska” (Sept. 20) — and “finish his football career with his best friends and teammates.”
Williams' mother also said that Hurricanes are reaching out to the Minnesota Vikings to learn more about Adrian Peterson's rehab from ACL surgery.
Williams, a fifth-year senior who transferred from Memphis in 2011, was considered by many as the front-runner in the competition thanks to his significant experience advantage. He appeared in four games as a backup to Stephen Morris last season, throwing for 369 yards, three touchdowns and an interception.
The absence of Williams will put Kevin Olsen, a four-star prospect and the No. 5 pro-style quarterback in the 2013 class according to the 247Sports Composite, in the spotlight faster than expected, and how he handles fall camp and those first games will give Williams a better idea of what it will take to reclaim a spot in the competition.
