Played against this kid twice. Great QB. Much better QB than Gibson. He actually makes his reads, he's not just running around and slinging the ball to guys named Isaiah McKenzie.

Who's got a better ceiling i can't say.

Where do Devon Bush Jr, Walter Jackson, Robert Foy rank as prospects?

Someone told me to watch out for them to transfer, but if Flanagan can keep them, that might be an exciting team. My boy says they were young but played Miramar and Deerfield close.

Foy was one of our kids before a head coaching change had him transfer to Flanagan.

Grrrrreat kid and an excellent high school football player. Runs great routes and has very good hands. Only issue is, he's not fast enough for a kid who's only 5'11".

i dont trust flanagan kids and their talent levels...

i grew up in this area, i know the talent levels of the normal flanagan kids......

i just kinda cant buy into them having legit prospects...the best kid to come out of their in the last decade was a wr transfer from philly who flamed out one season in @ Notre Dame and now is @ Western Michigan....

i dont know i just look @ them like a Krop or Coral Reef...where if they have a supposed "good" prospect it NEVER shows at the next level.

that schools issue has always been keeping the talented kids home. theres plenty of talent in that area.

Over the last 10 years, this is the type guy who goes to Duke or Wake and goes 24/28 2/0 287 yards against us.

Honestly, Stanley is a better QUARTERBACK than Gibson at this stage as far as footwork, mechanics, anticipation, but there is no question that Gibson has the higher ceiling and is the better athlete.

I'm all in on Gibson being that all-world QB that people want him to be, but remember this season was his first year starting full-time, so there is still a ways to go for him in his development (which is one of the reasons why he is so intriguing as a prospect)

Also, Hurrickaneof83 is the most knowledgable Heritage guy out there and he has been raving to DMoney, Glory, Tito, and I about Gibson's ability at safety. He's a 5-star on either side of the ball.

I think he has a higher ceiling as WR. Im not a fan as a S. My opinion on him has to do with him long term. I think he can be a heisman candidate at QB, but he can be $100 million dollar WR. He has Calvin Johnson capabilities.

Can you break down his game a little at both positions? Those are some big labels.

Bush Jr - 3* player (will move to Safety due to height) nasty player (in a good way). You can tell he's the son of a former NFL player. Super instinctive. Outstanding coverage player.
Jackson - high 3* player - Will rise up charts now. Really excelled at SFE tryouts.
Foy - high 3* (could hit 4* eventually) Was a PROBLEM when Flanagan played Miramar. Accounted for something like 65% of their yardage btw rushing and receiving. Continued to show great production and improvement at SFE tryouts.

I was sold on this young man after watching dem lites....but then soured when I saw his ear RANGS. There is simply no hope for white QBs with RANGS in dey ears.

Watched this kid since his freshman yr. He has the goods but I don't see him as UM material. Nice arm, good delivery, good intangibles. He's tough as nails. Skinny as **** tho

Edit: Then again, I don't know what UM material is anymore. Especially at QB

That skinny kid Dorsey did quite well here.

I see plenty of Terrelle Pryor in Gibson and people truly forget how inept Pryor was during most of his time at OSU, not to mention the fact that I'm not confident enough in Coley's abilities to coach the QB position to be taking on QB projects as raw as Gibson.

I dunno...long blonde hair flowing out from under his helmet. Sure this kid isn't a better fit for a Cali school? You know, a Todd Marinovich type?
