I think he is the backup. McCoy outplayed him and my guess/opinion is McCoy will be the starter

This. It sucks for Rodriguez but he was the obvious weak link in the OL against the Gators. Thankfully they didn’t have anyone good enough to exploit it.

Need to get McCoy or Samson to step up and take firm grasp.
