2025 Ryan "Hollywood" Williams 5* WR from Saraland, AL

He’s more AJ green to me, i don’t think he’s as athletic as julio or andre
I thought that he was AJ as well seeing his work at Chaminade but he looks completely different at Taint. He looks like a yoked up CeeDee out there. His after the catch work is significantly better than I saw at the HS level.

better hands an route runner than both at the same playing year.
Probably he is advanced but dre and julio ceilings were higher because they were insane athletes I don’t think jj is but 99% of wrs ever aren’t. He can still be great but those two are close to top10 ever imo

He looks like a veteran NFL receiver right now. He would snap a freshman AJ Green in half. Combination of size, speed, strength, balance, and skill is elite.

The difference is JJ doesnt have to just out athlete everything ...even though he does.

Kid was elite at the details of the position at about 10 years old. Its gonna be funny watching Hartline get credit for development on this one...i told @DMoney what he would be when he was 10.
Dre had to get lasik surgery and double caught things...Julio pretty much just out athlete stuff.

But yea physically JJ is the closest thing to Dre from down here. If stays healthy he is in the realm of those 2 guys in college.

Ryan Willimas has a little Peter Warrick/Roscoe Parrish to his game, i like that part of it. But the most impressive for me about him and JJ are their ball skills. They track well and have the hands to go with it.

I like the JJ comp to Dre over Green. Both quiet guys but bullies on the field. I aint never think that about Green goint back to the days of BTW going up to SC. JJ running gait is similar to Green though...Green was more finesse imo.

* Xavier Restrepo has similar stats to both and there isnt much post/threads about it.....on a canes site. Got to give the prerequisite X shot out.

I agree i said he is closer to his ceiling at this point than ryan and the other guys named

JJ looks like an NFL athlete as a freshman. His 17 year old kid is having a heck of a year. Both are.
I didnt expect this from Ryan Williams so early...with JJ i knew it. I was on the board saying Mario should give up his wife..( iw as out my mind) lol

We made it a fight but he was ultimately going to OSU even if we got Cam Ward. It all lined up so much better for them to get him.

His lil brother Lo is a safety at chaminade we may have a better shot their when he comes out if he grows a bit more..hes physical already though just short compared to Jo Jo at that age

I agree thats why he is a special player, he is athletic and advanced but julio and dre were different level athletically. Thats makes a huge difference in the ceiling of a player.

Off the field he probably is similar to dre based on the interviews i have seen of both im just talking about play style and traits

And bro an aj comp isn’t a slight , he was rated higher than julio out of high school and in the nfl draft

100% agree on the Dre comp. Very similar physically, track guys, strong. They are both serious about the game, too.
