Okay I got a call back this morning from the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort sales manager and she said the made a mistake an they are in fact the host hotel for Miami and the entourage.

She is having her assistant send me a link for the per night package price it is $199\ night +tax. I will post it as soon as I get it. I told her the sooner the better.

So then switch your reservations to Shingle Creek they have 700+ rooms left as of yesterday. Use the Miami Fan code when you call for $199/night rate.

I am local. Book a tour at one of the resorts. Westgate resorts has some great deals if you can stomach a 90-minute tour. Otherwise tons of cheap hotels along 192 in Kissimmee, whihc is half hour drive to the stadium.

Most of 192 is bed bug Alley and long term displaced families. Don't send these people there. And no way it is 30 mins to the stadium with construction on i-4.

Rosen Shingle Creek is great AND has a nice Golf Course. Across the Street is Vista Cay Resort which has up to 3 Bedroom Condos. Both can be found online.

DO NOT BOOK A TOUR There is no such thing as a 90 Minute tour the average ends up being 3-4 hours if you are lucky, I have worked in and around tourism in C Fla for 30+ years and it isnt worth it.

There's always a 3 hour tour

FWIW, I booked the Rosen Shingle Creekhotel at $152 a night on Hoteltravel.com. Anyone used that site before?

This is why I said book online if you can find it cheaper (than the $199 Miami Fan rate) while there is availability through online resellers. Rosen Shingle Creek has 1500 rooms and they contracted with FCS to provide 2000 nights (so that is roughly 700 rooms for 3 nights on average)

I just checked trivago an I saw rooms from 12\26 to 12\29 for $149\night.

SpikeUM $152\night is a very good price for Rosen Shingle Creek.

I was just on the phone with the Sales Managers assistant explaining that their Miami Bowl Block rate of $199 is much higher than what can found through online resellers. Also the taxs for booking through a online reseller are significant less, which also lowers the total per night price.

She said she will review the Florida Sports contract and call me back ASAP. Since the block rate was negotiated some time ago, it is looking like booking online while there is availability will be best. Then once the online reseller's s price surpasses $199, use the Miami Bowl block rate.

When I went to the Rustled Bowl vs. Wisconsin I stayed at a motel near the stadium for $35. They also offered a weekly rate. The smell in the room was an intoxicating mixture of mildew and ****. At least I had a better night than Graig Cooper. Got to leave Orlando with two knees.
