Run the **** ball.

It’s called player development.

he got his development while Rivers was out. We need a consistent 5 to jell & better communicate with each other. I assume this inconsistency with the oline is partly why they stayed the silent count.

I’d rather be passing too much than running too much. Our defense allows too many points and if we were a running team the defenses would be ready for it. We have no edge running, just power runs off tackle.
You guys have a short memory. Let Cam be Cam. Our passing game is opening up the running game. Defense is the problem.

What exactly are you complaining about here? It sounds like you’re trying to find a problem thst doesn’t exist. Bell is night and day better than what he was against famu. They’re also pulling McCoy who took his lumps last week against FSU.

So what is the issue here?

Rivers and Bell are bigger and likely stronger than McCoy, I believe the strategy may be to run the ball more with Rivers at LG and pass the ball more with Rivers at LT.

I am sure our coaches and the opposing teams know the offensive line combination that is most effective running the ball and the best pass blockers based on film over the last several games of this experiment. Player development may also be a factor.

I am sure Mirabal and Cristobal can figure this out and cut down on some of the sacks in recent games.

Should have ran it while we were up 14-0 and instead we threw it 3 times, went 3 and out, and the tides completely shifted since then.

Haven’t had any rhythm since then either.

******** around the OL just to “reward” Markel Bell is also absolutely retarded. Pick 5 and play them. If he’s not part of the best starting 5, let him ride the pines.

This has been a pattern between Cam and Dawson. They seem to get impatient and start throwing reckless haymakers. We need to run the football and keep working the body to make the opponent inpatient, frustrated, and undisciplined before calling the PA.

Oline is about communication as much as individual talent. Having a 6th guy rotate can hurt that communication in my opinion. Isn't necessary at this point with Rivers back this late in the season. Get your best 5 out there & let them get rolling. McCoy or whoever can come in on jumbo packages & injury scenarios.

Another classic CIS thread, lol.

A #He1sman winning qb and people want to run the ball against manny/duke, lol.

UM, Mario, and Dawson are 100% all in on letting Cam try and win the He1sman, as it should be. But publicly, they will say, "it's a team game.", just know.

Not winning a NC with the way this defense is playing, so get over running the ball.

Giving out positive reactions too. He usually just comes in here and gives the vomit emoji which I have fallen victim to on many occasions. Welcome back Franchise
He’s hilarious as ****, it is easy to forgive him when he is just dead wrong. 😂

I got quite a few panicky reactions to my not giving a **** about the political posture trophy that is the Heisman. I gave up caring about that when Dorsey was snubbed coming in 5th place.

I’m sure Cam would like to have it, but I believe him when he says while he loves the University putting together a package for him, etc…it isn’t his priority.

Closing seconds of the duke game , it was reported, Cam checked out of the running play to a pass. And I've got no problem with that.

100%

Mario knows how big Cam winning the Heisman is, not only for the program but to end this "Mario QB killer" stigma, and plus its even more ammo for recruiting

TrumpyCane all aboard the pad the stats bandwagon

That’s hilarious…wonder if you would felt the same if he was knocked out of the next 2 games. Guess blame the coaching staff for his decision at that point?
Face palm all you want…clearly you can’t answer the question. He didn’t check out of a run because he thought their defense was too stout at that point as we had been walking in the end zone.

Played it and coached it. Can you point out where the issue is here or are you merely assuming they haven’t “gelled”? I’m not trying to pick on you here but what exactly are they doing on the field that makes you believe there’s a problem. They gave up a sack on a twist this weekend and guess what……had nothing to do with the left side.

Hey, seriously, no disrespect but your opinion or experience means nothing to me. It's not going to influence mine one way or the other.

Our line was solid & steady all last year with the same 5. I don't remember them rotating as frequently. This year the play has been more uneven with injuries & then the rotating when healthy. FSU in particular had Rivers & Mauigoa have a play each where they blocked no one. Rivers to his credit tried to block one, just missed him iirc.

This is just what I'm seeing & my inexperienced opinion as a fan. If you wanna do a full film break down on this & educate me, have at it. I'm good either way tbh

Well then it’s settled. Non issue.
