Meh. Like 420 said just win 9 to 10 games, show that we are on the upswing and recruiting with the staff we have will take care of itself.

Lmao. Haven't heard the noles mentioned once during is recruitment but now that the head coach who has been there a year would seal the deal? That sounds like BS to me. Mike Barrow IS homestead. I'll take Barrow and Waters anyday

recruiting makes me angry. I now realize there's no point in following it until December/January. There's simply too much bull**** going on nowadays.

At this point I just try to get to know the recruits and who may be on our radar, **** changes so much it's crazy.

The bull**** is assuming it seals the deal. I don't think Burrows would be a bad hire at all, but like others have said he's been there 1 year. I'll go up against his 1 year head coach with his boy Herb Waters and his uncle Barrow and feel good about it.

You would think that with age and experience I would become wise and shake all of this stuff off, but I really just find myself getting grumpier and grumpier about all the ****ery. I feel like AG & Co. are doing all the right things and it's maddening to have so many South Florida people trying to sabotage their effort. (Not referring to the Lane deal, thinking more of the BTW stuff, Luke, the rumors on Cook, the rumors on Sony, etc.).
 
I think if we win 10 games, we're going to have crazy momentum with in-season committments and other guys sticking, and it will create a massive snowball effect locally. All these kids have played with and against one another their whole lives. If we get some real excitement down here about this recruiting class and program, the kids like Lane and others will come. Frankly, if we don't win 9 games, I think we've got bigger issues anyways. Time to win.
 
Once again Jimbo is trying to emulate Saban by hiring some body with south florida ties to an off the field recruiting position. He's desperate and it's laughable
