Nah, the atmosphere is great for most games. Now whether or not it’s worth living in a small town is up to the individual.Have 6-7 home games per year.
About 2-3 are really good atmospheres.
Is that worth living in that small town for 365 days per year?
Wow! this is the first time I’ve heard of this. Some of you really overthink the "small town" college atmosphere argument. These are young kids that crave attention.
In Miami, an 18 year old UM football player isn't recognize 99% of the time unless it's on campus. Go to a Publix, Chipotle, Walmart, or whatever other place in Miami and most people don't even think twice.
But that same player in Auburn, Tuscaloosa, Athens, etc. is treated like a ******* god at the local Outback. Endless bloomin' onions all day, every day.
You think these young kids don't want that? Couple that with an electric gameday atmosphere and insane female talent...it's a wrap.
That narrative is way overplayed. These kids go to these small towns because they get paid to. They don't like it that much. Some of you really overthink the "small town" college atmosphere argument. These are young kids that crave attention.
