From my neck of the woods. Plays in the ISL, which has produced a couple solid players over the past few years, including AJ Dillon of the Packers (who played at Lawrence Academy before going to BC).

Hearing most schools (including Miami) want Hanafin at LB/S, but he wants WR which is where Bama/Clemson/ND appear to be recruiting him, so that's why they're the favorites.

So you mean they're doing the old... "tell you what you want to hear just to lock you up, but you ain't gonna play there once you're signed" talk?

Can't blame this one as a sign of bigger things re: linebackers.

Hanafin wants to play WR in college. His top 3 are promising him that's where he'll play. Pretty simple.

He's a smart kid and I think it's why ND leads. Bama and Clemson at WR? Probably not for Hanafin. But ND only took one WR last season so it actually seems like a viable option (and why I think he picks the Irish in July).
