Seems like the advantage of being the local program is being plugged in with local coaches and getting the goods on local prospects…just like this. This should never have been allowed to happen

Why our former coaches didn’t listen to local coaches is crazy. Like did nobody from past staffs show up and ask you about Dorlus and Moreau etc?

Something tells me Mario is more clued in, hence the OJ offer, but jesus we had some incompetent people running this program for so many years. Glad we’re in better hands now

This is good stuff. Just to add some randomness to it but seems like Mario and co. are heavily focused on specific programs as well. Not that you only recruit some high schools and not others but if there’s a specific infrastructure at certain programs (IMG, Chaminade, STA etc) that fits in with what we want to do at Miami, then it’s perfect

Yeah, it's like we went from being a mom and pop operation to actually being organized, professional, and taking **** seriously.

That's why I'm not even mad at Mario for losing a couple of games last year we should have won. He's building the whole foundation of the program up and professionalizing the whole operation in a way that's built to last. That's the way it seems to me, anyway.
