DOnt get me wrong he has tremendous upside and Cristobal loves him..It's just he's one of those players thats not ready to play and couldnt contribute next year.. HE is more of a project... He is not a cant miss player. Had a great year though... he definitely passes the eye test, just not as talented as some of the other safetys in recent years. I talked to a coache today and they said he has the potential to be a starter but dont expect nothing in the next few years... but he has all the intangibles... but hes not on the level of playmaker like a Deon Bush or a cadillac coming out of high school, and he is not a sleeper many colleges come through edison and know about him....

I think we are set in the secondary for next year, it's 2016 we are worried about with Mayes been the only DB recruit left from our last recruiting class.

S: Bush, Carter, J. Crawford, J. Johnson, R. Jenkins
CB: Howard, Burns, Elder, A. Crawford

We shouldn't need him next year and hopefully staff keeps him off of ST so he can redshirt like Mayes did this year. It's 2016 that we need DBs when Howard, Crawford x2, Bush all graduate.

glad we got the kid but its something that needs to be said as upset that we all are with the lack of success the program has had over the past couple of years its obvious that coach golden will return this year and as a diehard fan we all need to chill out on bashing the program. just listen people voice thier opinion in hope of chance or to vent but were not helping recruiting neither when we sit up here and bash the **** program every chance we get all im saying is if im a kid and i see all this negativity going on i don't want to be apart of that and the quotes about the missing out on star players Clive Walford wasn't rated by espn and he is a draft able player Shane McDermott was a 3 star rated by espn Phillip Dorsett 3 star rated by espn Denzel Perryman 3 star rated by espn also even Ereck Flowers rated 3 stars by espn. and they have all had a pretty good **** career could it have been better with coaching yes. do we have higher rated players who have under achieved yes. but we all need to show a since of loyalty here to the U. I for one like golden no matter what you all can say the defense has gotten better statistically but i do feel we need some changes on the defensive staff aka paul williams and jethro franklin. but thats on the administration and miami as well for being a private institution and not having the money to spend We need to improve in situation play think about this in two games the florida state game and the south carolina game duke fumbled in crucial situations that caused us momentum so did clive walford instance florida state.Im going to close out because im tired of typing. All im saying if your with the U be with the U. Its in our heart its how we feel its the swagger an energy that we carry .
 
I already said it. If we can't keep Scarlett give this kid #26 from day one and let him prove he is more Sean Taylor than Anthony Reddick. Didn't Kayya say you grow most on the verge of being uncomfortable. Not knowing much about Knowles beside his lightning quick recognition skills he just seems to be a guy who thrives with a weight on his shoulders and haters hating. I hope I'm right.

Way too early for that my friend. Knowles is the type of kid that's going to need a redshirt and to develop a bit.

And yeah Scarlett plans on wearing #1 in college.

Scarlett was wearing #22 this past year at STA because a teammate already had that number.

Scarlett wore #1 at University school and #25 his freshman year at University School.

He wasn't that good that's why. There are a couple kids in this years class who are a lil better athletically but fit the same mold. It will be difficult for their game to transition to the next level.
