Ridley names Alabama his leader

Perfect example right here he didn't name anybody his leader but you guys still bash him because you thought his leader was Alabama

I don't really care where a kid goes to school because it's his right. Career-wise from watching Cooper at Bama, this is a good move from him. I try not to get to involved with the stars because it doesn't measure heart and work ethic. A bad coach can also make a 5 star wr regress into a 2-3 star JAG. If this kid is a freak like Clowney, then we need to be worried. Alot of my friends from South Florida have/had the same mindset of wanting to get out of there. Bigger issue for me is grades and not getting into UM but getting into a Vanderbilt, Notre Dame, or other good schools.
 
Everyone does realize that was most likely an Alabama reporter writing a story for an Alabama site...

For those bashing the staff... how do you know they aren't doing everything possible to recruit Ridley?? Didn't realize so many people on this board were part of Miami's staff

I still don't know how much class work he can make up in less than a year, though. Lots of people have said his grades are bad bad

If Miami wins 10+ games this year what do you all think recruits woulds say then? Would we get the majority of our top targets or nah?

I said a couple months ago that I would be surrpised if we landed SBB, Ridley. Still feel that way.
 
What are you South Floridians doing to these kids to make them want to get away???

Filling the news with the possibility do giving the most valuable vacant piece of real estate to A South American and a Brit to build a soccer stadium.

Really dude? I mean seriously....listen I'm not a Golden Slurper but Golden has done just about everything in his power to get this kid and many others, According to Calvin in previous articles, he communicates with Golden almost everyday and he has visited the campus countless times for U-night and junior days and etc.

Golden's effort on some things can and should be questioned but for me this is a no brainer. Sometimes kids just want to go to other places especially if your hometown team only fills up 1/4th of the stadium and hasn't been relevant since 2003ish.

Now with all this being said, his twitter begs to differ with this article off of an unreliable subscription site so stop getting all flustered 10 months away from signing day.
