Richt supporters

I’ll give him another year when we have atleast an average QB. Searles seat should be the hottest out of anybody in my opinion.

Was listening to Alex Donno the other day and he said he is now doubting Richt will ever win a title here. From what I've seen the Richt supporters are waking up.
Does anybody know Donno? I think I used to know his mom years ago. Is his father a professor in the business school? And his mother works there, too?

As long as he is coach of Canes I support him. Still think there is something we do not know going on with QB situation, had one person suggest (will not say who) that Richt has been told to hold Kosi from playing for now. That will of course not be true if he plays this week.

Somewhat understand not playing Jarren at first of year, but with Maleak’s weaknesses why not? To me it would be worth burning redshirt to win a couple more games. We may see him once in4 game limit window.

There are other areas that need changes made as it is almost every year if you improve and compete for championships.

Coaches game plan. Coaches identify weaknesses and play to strengths. Coaches learn from mistakes and get better.
...Or they kick rocks.

I support Richt because I believe he is a great leader and face of the program but he’s really testing my patience and needs to make some changes this off season to make me say I support him after this disaster. I’d say I’d be unhappy with his play calling but I’d probably be a 7 on an anger scale instead of a 10 solely with him not playing Malik each week
I feel the same, really like the guy and he is a Cane, hope he can make the needed changed and make it work.

I thought they hired a professional search firm that selected him. Time to get your fee back, anyway.

No question at the time it was a good hire to represent the program. Somewhat established and brought in great recruiting classes and was a well known face for the program. With that said, explain why you think he is a great leader? I am starting to question the leader part.

Richt is old school old school. Redshirting Jarren to have him play with a mix of younger lineman he recruited last class (hopefully Neal but doubt it at this point). Kosi and Cade Weldon gone at the end of the year. Better recruit at least 2 Qbs this class for depth alone. Feel like he is the right leader and face of the program but maybe the game is passing him by. Definately needs some restructuring on the offensive coaching staff. Question is will he do it. The biggest question is would an alum put his who ahead of the program. Big question is can you keep Dugans if he has no shot at truly being an OC here if you make an outside hire. Coach really boxed himself into a corner.

I do think he can be the guy to lead us over the hill IF he approaches his role as HC of the Canes the same way Dabo Swinney does with Clemson - that is, the motivational/spiritual core of the program, but leaving the scheming and gameday game planning to well-paid, highly competent assistants.

If he insists on running the offense next year, then unfortunately I don't see it happening. He'll get 5 years here, we'll finish 9-3 or 10-2 every season with disappointing losses to better teams, and we'll stay on the fringes of the Top 10 without ever truly being a threat.

I'm not much of a recruiting follower, but why does this class look so mediocre on paper? This isn't a good follow up to last year's class. Is this because of our current struggles? Or is this something that's been brewing for a while?

Only if he makes changes this off season. At the very least, Searless needs to go, OC needs to be hired (and not just another antiquated OC re-tread, a real one), some one else besides Hartley needs to run Special Teams, and Jr. needs to be demoted. I am good if MR takes over QB coaching.

His mom was my advisor and his dad was my stats teacher. He's a good radio guy, by far my favorite to listen to on 560 right now.

Yea, depends on the off-season staff moves for me. Doesn't mean I wasn't going ape sh*t Friday night and feeling this same hurt we're all felling....I try to balance reality of different angles. I don't think he would fire his son, but I do think he needs to slide him over to a "offensive consultant" position, or whatever BS job title bama uses for their extra staff... Then make a REALLY good OC choice, and hand the reigns over..... Fire Searels, and get a very solid OL coach. Slide Patke to a non-coaching position, and bring in a good LB/ST coach.... Take Hartley off ST....

Lol it’s funny how you clowns try to draw this fake line in the sand called Richt Supporters VS...??

In reality it’s people that support the Miami program VS a bunch of bxtches who want their tears to be heard.

Yes I do “still” support Coach Richt bc i “still” supported him through all of the big wins so I’m “still” going to support him after a couple of bad losses.

So serious question... Instead of naming an OC . What type/who's offense would you want at Miami? (Clemson, bama, Georgia etc..)
