At least in prior regimes we've had backup plans, we're a recruiting nightmare right now. It has never been as bad as THIRTY FOURTH.

Pretty sure the two grad transfers qualify as backup plans. You don't get Evan Neal. You sign a guy who you believe can start at that position immediately next season. Crowley bounces, you sign Asa Martin. Those are two backups plans right there. One a former 4-star recruit. The other a LT you beat OU, Texas and Auburn out for. So not only were they backup plans, they were highly sought after ones. **** is shaky right now. But you're ignoring what is actually happening.

An answer to what? That we are surprised? Where in my post said this was a surprise. Check my posts from the last couple of months, I knew this was coming, most here did. He should be ashamed. He ****ed us for years to come. Terrible recruiting and terrible coaching.

They had a chance to interview for the job three years ago and didn't grant him an opportunity. He is not coming back.

He is going to do great at Oregon. Listen you guys all hate him because he left Golden to go to Alabama let it go. JJ encouraged him to take off to go work with Saban and it was the best decision he ever made.
