Per Canes in Italy, the second commit is Cam Williams who will have his paper work ready soon in 24 hrs ( Ivins). This is huge because he is a DE that we sorely needed to qualify for this class and couldn't sign early yesterday.


Apart from that, a post there said he has a reliable twitter guy who said that Stevenson has already signed secretly with Miami despite his mom making a push for UGA. An SFE coach named Ricky Williams SR. said that Cooney deserves a promotion for the work he put in in a tweet ( Cooney was a former coach of Stevenson). Then another independent twitter guy named Steve Feinberg who has connections to the program Tweeted out " Cooney for A.D!". Now this Feinberg cat sends cryptic tweets a day or two before something major happens. Apparently Cooney had a big role in locking up some big fish and El Gammal wouldn't be someone that Feinberg would be calling for Cooney to be an A.D or a South Florida Express coach who has no ties to New York be calling for Cooney to receive a promotion.

I looked at both rosters and he wasn’t on either AA game. All the NY HS all star games are done

assuming the Big Fish is Stevenson. Cooney was his coach.. and both the SFE guy and Feinberg were calling for Cooney to be promoted or in Feinberg;s case to become A.D. You think that would be the case if Cooney landed El Gammall?

This was someone who signed yesterday but didn't announce. My understanding (not clear though) is that El Gammal signed today, so not him.

Side notes: 1) Richt sounds does sound depressed when discussing recruiting 2) Regarding class rankings, Richt mentions we don't get credit for Asa Martin. Is that true?

Technically this is correct. But Cooney's brother.. coach PJ Cooney IS at Southridge he is the varsity DL coach and JV defensive coordinator. When UM hired Cooney not only did they now have South Date ties buy his brother working at Southridge gave UM access as well to the Ridge.
