Me gusta.

Losing alex collins doesn't hurt so bad when you land the #1 back in the nation. Git 'er done Al.

fastest running back recruit in the nation....looks like a thug...sure, why not

I am cautious of the look like tarzan, but plays like jane effect. For instance we took danny dillard last year, and well he is being redshirted, with a lot of rumblings the coaches aren't happy. We should have gone after cross kid from Georgia last year that ended up at nebraska, the kid is a beast in the power running game.

I wouldn't compare Green and Dillard whatsoever. Dillard didn't have the caliber of offers Green did or the speed/power combo.

And what's so bad about Dillard being redshirted this year? Where would you give him carries? Mike James has been good all season and Duke is Duke

Agreed with this.

Green looks **** good just not Collins good (to me for whatever that's worth). With as many lightly recruited guys that are making an impact for us I'm willing to wait and see with Dillard.

I saw Dillard in person, i would not have even went after him. To slow, he did nothing in the game, bad choice in my opinion. That Darius Tice looks pretty good to me, I'd give him a look. Peter, are we looking at him?

I talked to Tice 2 weeks ago and he said Miami wasn't talking to him

Why the heck not? He seems every bit as good as Collins and he plays better competition. He is a back we can use to get that third and one, first down too. Is he really 6ft?

I liked what I saw from Tice, but lets not get carried away, Alex Collins in on another level.

Alex Collins is the best RB in the country and it ain't close.

How so? He isn't killing it against easier competition? His line looks ok, so he shoud have at least 50% better numbers than the competition. I just don't see why everyone is crying over this kid. Chestnut and Tice look just as good. Chestnut's line looks better than the others, but that is against much better competition.

Dillard was recruited to play FB here,he's backing Hagens next year and will be the starting FB in 2014 when he should be in the 240-250 LB range. Not as physsical as Hagans but much more athletic and much, much faster.

I don't see Dillard as a FB, he just doesn't have that mentality. H-Back might be his role here, but I don't see him as a blocking FB like Hagens whatsoever

Peter if he doesn't have the mentality to play FB he may not be on this team in a couple years.Hagens will be a SR next year and we're not recruiting any FBs.

From my understanding, they are trying to phase out the FB from the offense and want to go more in the direction of an H-Back like Dillard could be.

His #'s surely don't show it! No better than may backs in SF. If he was all that his #'s would show it, JMO
