This is directly from Bama boards, he is a target but not a priority at the moment. If they miss on AJ Brown and few other WR targets then you may see a push going into his announcement on NSD
Wait, so you´re saying that there are
several schools who might beat Bama out for WRs? I was led to believe by many on this board that Bama is unbeatable.
Bama has like 3 other WRs they're chasing Keith Gavin, AJ Brown, and Demetris Robterson also are making a push for the
#1 WR. Luckily for us Richards may fall in our leaps because of that.
And they will as long as Saban is there...they are a player for the best all over the country, while keeping the best in their backyard home. It is what it is.
That said, many won't remember, but some of the same things were said about Amari Cooper from Alabama fans up to his signature. We are going after X,Y & Z anyway. so if he stays in FLA somewhere, it won't be a big deal. Now they would be happy to name a building or two after the kid.
Saban understands that it wasn't coincidental lightning striking twice in Cooper and Ridley. They have had Richards on their radar for a loooong time. Who is to say that the COACHES, not the recruiting guru fans, might not want to keep a good FLA trend going post Julio Jones.
