Richards and Dugans

I'm from Palm beach too. Richards will not dominate first year like Ridley and Cooper did hes got to hit the weight room. Your right about the Ruddolph part. But Rudpolph is no where near Cooper and Ridley.

To put into perspective what winning PB player of the year means, here are the previous 6 winners before Richards snagged it this season

2014- Lamar Jackson (Louisville Starting QB)
2013- Travis Rudolph (Thanks Golden)
2012- Kelvin Taylor (UF starting RB)
2011- Will Likely (Maryland starting CB and another miss by Golden)
2010- Jacoby Brisett (Golden misses again, UF and NC State starting QB)
2009- Matt Elam (UF starting safety, currently starting safety for Ravens)

A very prestigious award. And to do it from Wellington High? Dude has the "it" factor.

*stops **** riding*

Ahmmon Richards isn't a great route runner. Callaway, Ridley, Rudolph, & Bruce were all great at running routes. Polished. He will probably play his freshman year, but I don't expect him to get much PT. he looks like he's 175 pounds also.

I agree but thats because the lack of strength training at Wellington High, its beyond awful. But his ceiling? Just as high. Espcially when Kaaya is throwing him the ball. Wouldn't be surprised to see him be in the rotation the first 6 games as a frosh and really turn it on once he's adjusted, and take over as full time starter.

All coaching my dude. If he went to a power house like Booker T, northwestern, or STA where coaching is elite he would be polished. You look for ceiling coming out of high school. His ceiling is higher than Bruce, Callaway and Rudolph. Right up there with Ridley and Cooper.

The only place you mentioned that has elite HS coaching is STA. time in time again the other SFLA coaches have embarrassed themselves when they were on national TV, lucky for them they usually had the best talent at their disposal. Richards is what he is, a great prospect with work to do. He isn't Cooper, but who is and Ridley is the age of a junior as a freshman.

bingo u know ur ****, these bozos live off the HS dominance and Bruce will not b a better player than AR12, if bama n saban going to this kids front door and not bruce's thats all u need to know

Seems like the kids like dugans

But Dude...for the benefit of this old white guy here....are they bonding? Are they doing something similar to what has been described as "dabs" and "donks" elsewhere on this board? I'm clueless...

What can I read into (or out of) what those guys are doing there? Why do we have a receiver coach that looks a little like a bald Samuel L. Jackson, or somebody?

I'm out of questions...I need some answeres.

Time to stop Saban from stealing the south Florida elite of the elite. He got Cooper and Ridley. NO MORE.

The inability to process some of us saying "I'd love to have Bruce but he's not a member of the freaking Avengers" remains undefeated. Saying he's less than utterly irreplaceable is not a knock. Saying he's extremely valuable but the class isn't a burning landfill if he isn't in it is not a knock. Saying there are other players you like almost as much is still not a knock.

The irony of quoting his "authentic leadership" while simultaneously lamenting he's playing one of the longest, most obvious cons in recent recruiting history is interesting. Normally I don't consider it a big deal either way. The kids do what they want. But when you make Bruce an unimpeachable figure, well, I guess there's nothing to worry about then, right? Or is it wrong to have gone through Jordan Scarlett and this time say, "Eh, I'm not wild about this ride, come what may."

Do we all have to continue shrieking from his altar like a bunch of harpies because Antonio Calloway had some highlights on one of the worst offenses in a Power 5 conference? Let the paralysis of losing Sam the Bruce guide us. Study his tweets for divination, see if changing his OV date makes sense of the stars in the heavens. "Alas, bleak, bleak visions cloud the air, I fear... darker every day..."

I've never said anything other than I'd love him in this class. Old world UM talent and drive. I'll just be -- slightly -- less disappointed than some of you if he bolts. S-L-I-G-H-T-L-Y.

I'm really bleak after reading your post. Keep this up and I will need to go for meds.

SMH at the meaningless comparisons. Both Richards and Bruce are kids this staff and pretty much any staff would want to add to their football team. CMR and staff are trying desperately to recruit both, so this silly little debate is useless. We want and need both, so your evaluations are not regarded anywhere.

I think y'all need to just chill the f_ck out on Sam Bruce, some of y'all the same people who tried to run shaqs dad a parent of a Miami committed recruit off the board because your hate for golden.... And always spread the proverbial " he gone" nonsense months ago....

Who cares lets get both, why are we comparing who's better?

I wish I saw what some of y'all see in Bruce, nice recruit but I don't see the major hype. If he comes good, but if not there's 5/6 guys if be just as good with

I feel the same about Mullins. Not blown away by Mullins. I see 2 big things about Bruce - great confidence and leadership (seems authentic) and he's an ideal slot guy.

LOL at Bruce Almighty being a great leader. He's a great punt returner, and I'd love to see him pop a few for UM next year. But calling this egomaniac a great leader strains credulity. He might be an emotional player who jumps around a lot, but he's no leader.

The thing about Bruce that interests me the most is his attitude. That's what old school Canes had. I want the kid who beats you on a play and then lets the other team know it.
