My list is made up of all SEC team wins.
Your list comprises 2 ACC teams , an Independent and a Big 10 team.
Show me one conference that has the same type of convincing wins as does the list below. The point is to prove which conf has the best resume.
Bama beat South FL 41-16
Bama beat Wisky 42-10
Georgia beat Clemson 34-3
Ole Miss beat Wake 40-6
Tenn beat NC State 51-10
Texas beat Mich 31-12
If we're comparing to wins over Wake, NCST, Mich, and USF... lol why?
Above, we're also looking at the SEC's best, 2nd best, 3rd best, and 4th best, and 5th best teams beating G5, the 10th best team in the B1G, the 4th best team in the ACC, the 14th best team in the ACC, the 13th best team in the ACC, and 8th best team in the B1G
Miami beat USF 50-15 at USF
Miami beat UF 41-17 at UF
Cal beat Auburn 21-14 at Auburn
North Carolina beat Minnesota 19-17 at MN
Boston College beat Mich State 23-19
Missouri only beat BC by 6 at Missouri
Louisville is probably going to beat Kentucky
Clemson vs SC will be a good game. I lean Clemson there.
The problem is we don't have comparable games to base off of in any direction. The only good matchup was Clemson vs Georgia in week 1 and I'm not convinced that would have the same outcome if it was played now. Georgia still wins but it's not a landslide anymore.
We do have examples of the bottom of the ACC beating the bottom of the SEC and the bottom of the ACC beating the bottom of the B1G and the middle of the ACC beating the middle of the B1G. Middle of the SEC beating the middle of the ACC. Middle of the B1G beating middle of the ACC. etc. and they were almost all very close games. Tells me it is just as "deep" and losses to the bottom and middle in any conference should all be weighted the same. Is the ACC as good at the top as those 2 conferences? No. Hard to be when 2 of your 3 biggest branded teams aren't very good this year. 6-17 in every conference is basically the same flawed team wearing a different uniform.
