I think it was 88.

I was at the ‘88 game against Michigan (senior in high school in Ann Arbor). Hard to say which was crazier but they were very similar games.
But it was awesome the following Monday wearing my Canes hat to school.

To me, Michigan was the ultimate bc it was at the big house and we needed an onside kick.

Florida was second, but this was close third.

My first Canes memory. Wore an entire Steve Walsh costume for the next like two years.

There isn't a good copy of the game on YouTube that I can find, they all seem like they were filmed underwater.

But I kept thinking of 1988 Michigan in that game because of the crazy crowd etc. and the way one team dominated the game and got turnovers etc. and Miami found a way.

My cousin who we call uncle went to Michigan during 1988 and the other year we had a big comeback on them. Can't remember the year, but he was at both and talked about the absolute defeat the students felt when Miami pulled it out. Felt the same.

The FSU comeback was monstrous in 87 Walsh to Irvin -Had to win , went to win a national championship-

The W in 88 in the big house was insane -Beating Bo Schembechler in his house was awesome-I remember listening to the late Sonny Hirsch,Jimmy Johnson,Gary Stevens and Dave Wannstedt going nuts in the locker room-

Beating Cal was right there with those 2 though-
