Reuben Foster

Says he will visit us and his quote was basically: "I have been talking to Miami for a long time but noone really knew about it". Says we have been calling him Ray Lewis.

Obviously a long shot but thought I would pass it along. A visit can always shake things up.

Difficult to type this with my keyboard covered in drool, but Foster is my personal #1 overall prospect for the class of 2013. He's the best LB I've ever scouted out of high school, even better than Manti Te'o or Arthur Brown.

Some of the responses in this thread are SMH-worthy. I don't remember the fanbase being opposed to Jadeveon Clowney coming in to visit.

You answered your own question.

How? I never heard of this kid before today. I was speaking in general.

Are you against the visit (assuming the stuff above)?

He's a stud prep recruit...but he's signed, sealed, and delivered to Auburn already. No need to bring him in on a visit.

Like I said (assuming the stuff above), I put our chances at .00000001%.

I am willing to spend $1,500.00 to buy a lottery tix. Who knows?

That is one expensive lotto ticket.

Diagnoses plays: check
Hits hard: check
Great burst: check
PLAYS HIS ASSIGNMENT: check
Disruptive: check
Great size for the position: check

The only negative I see is that he got by with a TON of arm-tackles in that clip. That's all fine and well to do when you're a man amongst boys in HS, but on the D1 level, you'll look silly real quick if you don't start wrapping up. He plays a touch out of control and lets his athleticism bail him out in some cases...but, when you're in the right place to start with--that tends to work out well more times than not.

One thing I want to point out--it's hard to both play your assignment and be disruptive. Guys that can do that as LB's are special--take Luke Kuechly, for instance. It didn't matter if what you were doing, he was always where he was supposed to be, and worked so hard at it that he disrupted plays all the time. Foster = more athletic/faster Kuechly.

That being said, I doubt he ever comes to UM. If he does--it's a HUGE pull and this staff will have done one helluva job with this class.

Might as well bring him in for a visit but we have no shot. He has a kid, auburn tattoo and plays with trooper taylors son. Better chance of having a different DC on the next year then this kid in orange and green

On a bigger scale it is what's driving me nuts about some of the things people here say (outside this thread)

There are a lot of guys out there right now that we don't know about. Guys who might be committed elsewhere but look at our situation and love it. Just gotta have some patience sometimes.

He has a Tattoo of Auburn on his arm. just sayin.

Patrick Robinson had Hurricanes tatt didn't stop him from attending FSU and

this guy attended LSU

Not sure what the big deal is about this kid. He seems slow as ****, and he's NEVER blocked which makes me think he plays against some ****** teams. I will take Matthew Thomas' reel over this kid's all day and twice on saturday.

He seems slow?

L M M F A O, come on mane

Dude may not have straight-line 40-time speed, but he has a great burst (see my above post). When he sees the play and where he needs to go, he wastes ZERO time running to the football.

Did no one see his plays carrying the balll? For a college LB he's anything but slow. On defense he closes like a cheetah
