Restrepo sets UM official, talks Knighton, spring ball

Like Restrepo; but I’m afraid under this current staff, he won’t be used properly. He’s definitely a wild dog that will be a guy that gives 125%, but I’m not sure if his leadership/skill set will be fully maximized under this current staff.

my money's on the kid who hates to lose, not the reject from Dance Fever... LOL

you just never know :)

i had a teammate at Exeter, a kid a year older than me. scholarship kid from the worst part of the hood of DC. bright kid, an OL, ended up at Northwestern if I remember correctly. Massive dude, and strong as an ox. (actually, his nickname was "bunyan". (for paul bunyan. quiet, but he had a temper. don't remember how it started but my roommate ticked him off one day, and Bunyan went after him. my roommate was a hockey player, good athlete, but weighed 175 with his clothes on soaking wet.

only problem was my roommate was a black belt in Bajiquan Kung Fu. he beat bunyan's *** .... badly .... in about four moves. knocked the kid out.

we had never seen a big guy fall that hard that fast, and it was a bit scary. the kid actually missed the next game because of it. it would have been big trouble for my roommate, since you DID NOT start fights at Exeter without some repercussions, but no one could get their arms around how the biggest meanest dude in the school got his *** handed to him by some white kid from the main line of Philadelphia.

so, like i said, .... you never know
Bull-Crap. Spend your yarns elsewhere.

Never met/coached a player who hates losing as much as this kid. He might actually kick Jalar Holley's a$$ if he sees him dancing on the sidelines during a loss.

Good to hear

Macho is Henningham all Pitt? WR or DB?

All you seniors live up to hype this year? Obviously I know you prob don't want to call anyone out who didn't...

Henningham didn't have the year I thought he would on defense. I'm thinking offense for him at Pitt. He said they actually like him at CB though. *shrug*

Some of our seniors lived up to expectation and some didn't. And some of them...non D1 caliber kids believe it or not...stepped up in a major way.

Should be a consensus 4 star, his performing very well for a long time and had a great year. Plus he has the athletic testing numbers you love too

Agreed. Big difference between Rivals and the other two recruiting services, too. 4* on Rivals and they consider him No. 68 recruit overall in Florida. Fairly low 3* on 247 and they consider him No. 175 in Florida. And E$PN has him as a very low 3* and No. 191 in Florida.

I can't believe that there are 100 HS seniors in the state of Florida who are better college football prospects than this young man, let alone 190.
