Brown decides to run with him instead of a cut back block. Probably would of stumbled up two defenders and maybe X goes all the way.

Watch Sam Brown become USELESS on this play as he has the ability the block the man who tackled Restrepo. He did absolutely except lead the convoy. The guy is an absolute ZERO!

I just rewatched the condensed version and there were 4 Cal defenders in the area and he made contact with none of them.

Sam Brown is the top of the screen. The Cal kid circled is who tackled Restrepo. Restrepo cut back in giving Brown a perfect chance to block the kid, or even just get in his way. Instead, Sam Brown inexplicably looks like he's racing with Restrepo, and forces him back to the outside. Just plain unaware.

When Cam floated that pass my heart skipped a beat. I thought how could he be floating it over there. Amazing play design by Dawson. Dude was so open it was rediculous.
