Respectfully, Cam Wards deep ball accuracy is questionable...

Lol idk man. I'll have to see it again. I definitely was too hyped to fully remember.
It might have been Horton in the end zone where the DB made somewhat of a play and still should have been caught. I said Brown but I don’t remember.

The one up the left sideline before we hit X for 70 something Horton had his man beat by several steps and it was just thrown way too far. I think that was the only one he missed

He is elite and the short and mid level but his deep balls are not accurate at all.

He dropped a dime to Horton that was dropped but he tried to bucket catch it, I thougfht he should've went up and high point it.

But aside from that throw, I don't think I remember a deep ball in which he's hit

In fact, most of them have been terrible balls.

Again, I'm not hating, but this my obersvation on him the last 6 weeks.

Other than that the remaining teams on our schedule will get bent over. I don't see any defense on any of them or any difficult games.

Bet everything on the Miami Hurricanes to blow out the Louisville Cardinals. Cardinals D is REALLY bad, and their QB is not good at all.

I've already got my ACC tickets booked. Bring on Clemson. Should be a heavyweight matchup. Let's go!
I see you're in purgatory now. Instead of deep balls, you should probably worry about another one of the inmates going balls deep.

My memory is that Ward threw two deep balls to the end zone that were very similar - one to George and one to Horton. Both were defended fairly well but were good throws and seemed like they should’ve been caught.

The deep ball on the last drive to Horton who had his coverage burnt by 6+ yards was the only bad one. He just let it go too hot when he should have put air on it. Basically anything left side deep should have air as a righty. Right side you can find a seam in the defense and zip it. Over the middle you can zip it and that’s what he does. Hes been as elite as I’ve seen throwing deep balls between the hashes on a rope.

The only problem is George dropped one because he got scared, George dropped one in the end zone that had a penalty anyway. Sam Brown had one in the end zone he could have had but let the DB make a play on him. Cam is putting them on the money 30+ yards. Anything contested is being dropped by 3 and 11.

I think they need to isolate Horton 1on1 out wide more often and let him go get it and let cam work on getting air on it in live game. He really just needs to see one connect like a 3 point shooter getting hot when he sees one go through the net

Both deep balls were right on the money and landed right on their chests, albeit a smidge late. Both JG and Horton had their man beat by a yard or so and had the throw been made a smidge earlier, it would have been perfect. I forget which was which - I think the Horton one, his defender got his hand in there at the last second and the JG was a drop.

That said, yes, the deep balls have been off for Cam all year long although those were almost perfect. But, complaining about cam's deep balls is like complaining about a super model's pointy elbows.

We’re not talking about the same deep shot to Horton. There was no defender. He was running up the sideline by himself and the ball wasn’t close.

Maybe not the last drive but one of the last drives

Got it - I was talking about the two deep posts
