Beginning to think a lot of the Golden still in play for Penn State information is coming from schools, or fans of schools, hoping to disrupt our recruiting class. Might be a wise idea to just sit on silly crap until Penn State actually hires someone.

Theres is a lot of negative recruiting from many schools the sec teams are the best at it

^^^^THIS - you guys are getting played.... It's all about recruiting right now. Valentine and a couple others are getting called a bunch... You guys are falling into the trap and keeping recycling the bull****... Schools will do anything to gain an advantage...^^^^

Yeah...but the problem with this line of thinking is why hasn't Golden come and and CLEARLY stated what is going on. No amibiguous general statements, no qualification of said statement, etc etc etc

If you're right then Golden's just an idiot. Let be clear...I want him gone more than anyone but he doesn't strike me as an idiot of Randy Shannon proportions either.

He's holding out as much hope that he gets an offer as many of us are. Now will it come.....probably not. But enough with the conspiracy theories. His demeanor, actions, and lack of clarity have left this story/soap opera running. If/when recruiting damage is done to this class he'll have nobody to blame but himself.
 
You have to be blind, gullible and possibly an idiot to think Golden still wants to be here. He is hoping Penn State gives him a lifeline. He is beat down just as much as we are. It would be best for us and him if he got the Penn State job. He didn't turn down anything.

This is true. The SEC also stole Golden's phone not allowing him to answer calls from recruits or his AD or school president. They cut his internet line too so he couldn't send out a message stating he wasn't interviewing for another job. They also wrote his statement that was conveniently ambigious, and told him to act like a mope for his press conference and radio interviews. Those SEC schools sure do have a lot of power.

There was an idiot on Twitter last week actually trying to convince me that PSU is a better job than Miami, not based on possibility of winning national titles, but based on $$, fans, facilities and stadium.

I'm not sure why that guy is an idiot. He is dead on. You can win a title at Miami easier but $$, fans, facilities and stadium are 100x better at PSU

Perhaps but why was Ferman on with Danny Rabinowitz in Joe Rose's time slot talking about Golden being offered the PSU job? Ferman is on WQAM a lot as a UM insider.

Because Joe Rose has a job to do. And when Ferman is wrong Rose calls him out on it. But you don't need to believe me, he was ripping into him on Monday morning. They were even mocking him for sending emails trying to explain why his "sources" were wrong about Golden and PSU.

Don't forget, Joe broke the NCAA sanction results news before anyone else.

Just heard on radio here in Birmingham that the Auburn D-coord is being interviewed as well for the HC position

I think PSU is figuring out nobody wants to coach there at this moment, to much **** they still have to go thru after there ped coach got caught.
 
Ellis Johnson would be a disastrous hire. I would take Shannon or Coker over Johnson.
 
you guys need to stop trashing the program on a PUBLIC forum. Golden is the coach and if you love the program as i do you will accept and support him.

outsiders, rivals and recruits read this stuff and it can and will be used against us.
