Not recruiting Elam is a big mistake. The staff is chasing a ghost with Dent. They are going to get played like last year with TC and PS
 
Are they rookies?. Who's the last kid we got from Pahokee?. I dont think it makes sense to be chasing Dent..add to it..almost every time i see him at camps..he's getting beat more so than you would think for such a high ranked guy. He's good but there aint much different with him and Elam

Been awhile, they just don't come here. Last one I can think of is the DL from 7 or 8 years ago. Probably missing someone though.

Dent, he's unquestionably the most overrated corner in the last five to ten years down here. He's sloppy out there and I haven't figured out what it is technique wise. I would have him a three star at best.

While I do agree with @gogeta4 that Dent being just a small tad overrated. I’ve seen him get exposed a bit at camps lately. He’s still very good, he’s definitely not a 3 star man c’mon. Lol

Micanor Regis and even he committed elsewhere and it was a snafu and then he came here. Unless dude told them thanks bu tno thanks they should be all over him..considering they was chasing Josh Jobe around who no real fans who followed recruiting for awhile knew wasnt coming here.

I would also say that Dent was exposed more than a bit at camps lately. Dude looked like he was on skates out there.

Yes, the WR's always have an advantage in a camp setting. I still however think it's a great evaluation tool with regards to corners in particular. You really get a sense of their center of gravity, change of direction and pace, makeup speed, how they play the ball in the air, etc.

It is one of the positions I feel you can see everything (not to mention the film quality is always better at the camps) but instincts with regards to playing with back up from the safety.

Running backs at camps, they're on the opposite spectrum of things as a camp doesn't show you much of what they can do.

Anyhow, I think Dent will be a colossal bust for his rankings.
 
Maybe Marcus Lafrance as a nice option for a corner with size? A recent interview with him (with another school) says he was going to be on campus soon as he's talking to coaches but hasn't yet been offered.
