Regarding our OL and running game

I mean define "stopped" for example last game on the play before the ward QB sneak for a TD pretty sure we only needed a yard and Martinez was stuffed at the LOS, so we ended up scoring but you are correct it is nice to NOT have to always worry about 3rd and 1. We are getting them far more than we are not.
I mean we turned it over on downs or punted/field goal after trying to convert on the ground like what seemed to happen a whole lot with past teams.

Can't remember the 3rd and 4th down stops vs Ga Tech that cost us the game. PTSD. Did we run on those?

I think that was Dawsons fascination with WR screens that hit at about 5% success

Just looked at the play by play for that game. Looks like they were all either incomplete passes and then the sack on 4th and 16 in the 4th rather than taking the FG.

Yep 4th and 1. Same play to one of the TEs was blown up earlier in the game as well

Do you remember what was the yard situation for that one? I totally forgot about that play. Dawson gets too cute, just go old school with those hogs upfront

Have we gotten stopped on 3rd/4th and short on a run this year? I know Dawson has dialed up some nonsense WR screens that got blown up. But have we gotten stopped running the ball in those situations?

Our 3rd/4th & short conversion rate has been ridiculously high this year (when RB's run it).

I'll pull stats on it - but I'd bet it's close to 85-90%

I think we may have ran the ball on a couple of the 3rd and short plays. On all the 4th down plays where we were stopped, we did not run on any of those plays.

1. 1st 4th and short. Was 4th and 3 with just over 2 minutes to go before half. We were at GT 23. Should have kicked a FG. Decided to go for it. Pass play which was incomplete.

2. 2nd 4th and short. Was 4th and 1 on GT 39. This was our first drive coming out of the half. Correct call was to go for it, but we decided to throw a pass to Fletcher coming out of the backfield. Bad pass by Cam and Fletcher could not adjust to it. Fletcher isn't terrible as a receiver out of the backfield, but Martinez is much more smooth. Either way, running it with either Fletcher or Martinez should have been the correct play. Coaching malpractice right there.

3. 3rd 4th down. This one was not 4th and short. It was originally 4th and 6 from GT 12. We threw for a TD, but play called back due to 2 penalty flags. Now its 4th and 16 from GT 22. Should have kicked a FG, but went for it and Cam got sacked.

The blown up screens are usually on the 2nd and long down and distances more often than not

i think thats the air raid in him
Even more maddening is that they rarely target JG with it yet he is one of the more dynamic WRs we’ve had in a while.

Special Teams malpractice that they haven’t let him field kickoffs and punts again. He has that change of speed/direction that is missing with the other guys. His run after catch on that screen against Wake was an example. Bunch of guys around him but nobody got a hand on him.

Was 2nd and short if I remember correctly. I think we ended up converting on the next play but it’s just a throw away down.

Ohh I can't wait to see this one
Alright so someone can check behind me if you want but this is what I have.

The below is all for less than 4 yards to go situations (I think holding it against a coach for not running needing at least 4 is ridiculous, personally)

3rd down Run: 19/24
3rd down Pass: 9/13
4th down Run: 6/6
4th down Pass: 2/5
