They start because there is no alternative....there's crap behind them. Being a starter on a unit that is a glaring weakness (maybe the biggest weakness) of your team probably means that you have the opposite of job security

Lay off the crack pipe. The only one that would have a chance at starting is donaldson.

Yeah, Slaton is a highly coveted 5 star OG but he would have no chance of taking Isadora's spot when he leaves because of our huge stockpile of talented reserves on the roster. Gtfoh.

It would be pretty impressive indeed for 3 freshman to take 4 starters' spots.

It'd be even more telling on how mediocre our o-line has been if 3 freshmen come in an take spots from Juniors/Seniors.

It could legitimately happen too...

LG - Isodora
C - Linder
RG -Darling
RT - Donaldson

Would give Slaton and Telfort tons of playing time along with Dykstra.

Lets calm down a bit. We got Donaldson which is great and there's talk of Telfort flipping from the gaytes.

McDermott is currently our best OL. I don't see him going to the bench. If he can play C, maybe you move him there to get the 5 most talented guys on the field.
