Update on WR/CB Sean Savoy

- his P5 offers are Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Miami, Penn State, Rutgers, Syracuse, and Virginia Tech but it's a UM vs. VT battle
- he'll be in Miami on June 23rd to visit
- Coach Dugans is his primary recruiter( Rumph talks to him too)
- He wants to go to a school with good academics and graduation rates. He also wants a school with playing time available to earn.
Sidenote: UM going after this recruit confuses me. He's 5'9 177 which would compare him to Trajan Bandy and Manny Greene who I think are both better than him but the staff barely talks(if at all) to both of them.
Update on Navaughn Donaldson
- he's solid and doesn't regret making an early decision
- UM still keeps in contact with him all the time, and he's taken unofficials and the staff was ok with it
- He's going to check out Michigan, West Virginia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Clemson, North Carolina, and a few other schools over the summer
- He does his best to keep in contact with the other commits

- Coach Rumph talk to him every day
- is extremely intrigued by the fact he could play early here
- the UM commits at Southridge are also talking about how awesome it is at UM and how they want him to play with them at the U. Kimora Gamble does the same thing for UF
Update on *4 Maryland CB Deon Jones
Junior Season Highlights - Deon Jones highlights - Hudl
- says he's open to every school that talks to him
- UM for some reason don't talk to him a lot. Coach Searels is usually the coach he talks to.
- Even though he doesn't hear from us alot, he still has plans to visit Coral Gables
Sidenote: This also confuses me, He's a perennial top 12 CB in the nation and has shown interest and wants to hear from us. It's not like we're not recruiting that area heavily in the first place either. He's clearly better than Sean Savoy.
Update on Jon Ford
- says his commitment is strong
- he loves Coach Kool, they have a great relationship
- UF is coming on strong as of late, but haven't offered(**** you UF)
Update on Brian Polendey
- He's moving to Tampa in January
- he isn't planning to take visits
- he isn't a aggressive UM recruiter, says it's not for everybody(smart kid)
Update on Kai-Leon Herbert
- says he cares most about being comfortable with the coaching staff, the education, and being in a family atmosphere
- Coach Searels and CMR are his primary recruiters, always tell him how big of a priority he is
- loves our coaching staff, calls it "an all star coaching staff"
Sidenote: This is more positive than other articles in the past. Still is a moderate UF lean, he started out talking how great UF and his relationship with Randy Shannon is...again

- Ole Miss and Miami are tied on top
- he loved the spring game
- He's going to visit Ole **** before making a decision

- was excited when he got the offer
- he grew up watching all the in-state schools. He wants to see UM improve this year
