Bryan Jones SDE Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Ht: 6'5 Wt: 240 - 259th best player in the nation

“I'm looking for a school that feels like home and one that my family and I are comfortable with,” he said. “And, most importantly, a great academic program that will prepare me for life after football.”

Jones has taken two visits to LSU and plans to sort his out of state visit schedule soon. He also has offers from schools like Baylor, Miami, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas and several others. If we can get into the DMV and Carolinas to supplement our Florida talent, that's how you win titles. Texas and California of course, but there are serious play makers up there, especially on the d-line

What DT's do we have realistic chance of landing?

Well there isn't any top tier DT really considering us but we have a really good shot with Kane Taylor who was just down here with Jacquez Jones and Rashad Colson said if he got an offer that he would commit on the spot but we do have 4* DT Jonathan Ford commited and their an OOS guy who was here for Junior day from Alabama named Ryan Johnson who will probably grow into a DT and is really talented. I believe we have seven guys at DT so we'll probably only take 2 and then another 2 next year

Ford and Colson wouldn't be a be a bad DT haul. Depending on how Colson plays at CC he could be a 4* as well. Kane Taylor would be gravy, but I think we discounting these DT's we have a chance with. I still like my boy Jordan Scott 1st team DT Class 7A Pinellas Park High.

I do too but I don't hear a lot about him. The only other DT other than those two I've heard about is Donovan Jeter but we'll see they've offered Emmanuel McNeil from Lawerenceville, Georgia yesterday ( I like our chances with any kid from Georgia) and Elijiah Conliffe from Hampton, Virginia.

two ? that's not enough
we have 7 on the roster dude most teams only carry 8 and we also have no seniors

But how many are actually good? I think they are going to try to get at least 3 maybe 4.
you have Gerald Willis, Anthony Moten, Richard Mcintosh, Courtel Jenkins, and Kendrick Norton. You have Ryan Fines who probably is the only "talent" question mark and it's already been said that Patrick Bethel is 265 and is probably going to continue to put on weight so he'll probably move to DT and again Jonathan Ford is already commited. You can't just cut a guy because he's untalented if you need the bodies and again we don't have a senior on the DT depth chart.

Kool will recruit a guy and coach him up. We will have monsters on the trenches again. Not worried if they're rated high or not

How about Jarez Parks? 5-star DE and I believe he's related to Pat Bethel

No sites have anything on him whatsoever, I keep looking because that's one of the players that need to be a priority A in my book but I've found nothing involving us BUT I have no doubt that he is a priority. 247 has had us warm on him for months and they usually update it every three weeks or so.

i read somewhere that he is high on miami and that his cousin patrick bethel is putting in good work to get his cousin down here. bethel has been boasting about the new coaching staff and the simplicity of the defense

could you please find that and put that up because I've been searching but found nothing

True no seniors but we lose Jenkins,Moten and Willis in 2017 and then Norton, Fines and RJ in 2018.
It may be wise to go for 3DT's for depth.
I don't think you realize that a lot of DE's switch to DT in college...we're recruiting high school DE's like Ryan Johnson who will probably switch to DT in college...I'm not saying we're only taking 3 DT's...but more of there isn't a lot of DT prospecta we're linked too but more DE's who are 250 + and are projected to move to DT
