Not hard to figure out. FSU has underachieved the last couple years, but they've been nationally relevant. UM has been an afterthought.

Next weekend is the biggest recruiting weekend we have had in longer than I can remember. These are kids that will help us take the next step as a program. Hopefully they see that.

It's going to be interesting to see what Thomas says and does this week. How will this Alabama visit impact his final decision (once the luster of the trip wears off), and most importantly, will he ultimately cancel the USC visit and come down to UM instead next weekend?

If he comes next weekend, I cannot envision him signing anywhere else, IMO. He will give in to the desire to stay home and play in front of his family and friends. As has been said 100 times, next weekend is beyond crucial.
 
Pete I'm truly concerned about Denver. Please tell me you think he's a Cane in the end. #Beast IMHO

"IF" Bama offers Thomas???? Trust me, Thomas has a Bama offer. He's an elite recruit. I agree they are a real threat for his service. He'd be dumb to ignore the Tide altogether, but you need to shake off that inferiority complex that Golden keeps talking about hanging over Canesnation. We SHOULD be considered frontrunners for Thomas. He can come in here and make this HIS defense, and in front of a hometown crowd to boot. There plenty of reasons for him to want to be in Coral Gables for the next 3-4 years. Playing for Golden for one.
